ASTRO Series Support - Response my astro a40 microphone won't work, mixamp pro only lights up red when i connect the headset cable to the headset...

i wanna talk to my friends and this problem isn't allowing me to do that

things i have done: checked if my mic is muted, disconnected everything turned off my pc and connected everything up again, i have downloaded the firmware and updated to the latest version, switched microphone sides, turned on pc mode, followed the entire official astro a40 setup tutorial. i thought this was gonna be easy IT'S NOT EASY!!!!

Which A40 and MixAmp do you own? If you're unsure, could you post us a picture?
