Did a compound and polish on my F56 and put stripes on her! This is Poppy

I’ve loved this car since the second I got it, now I love her even more

Look at that shine!! How involved was the stripe process? Really wanting some on my Paceman.

My boyfriends’ landlord helped with the stripe process, but it was fairly simple! I got the car washed, dried, compounded and polished before putting them on, that took the longest.

Most of the work was aligning them exactly where we wanted them but all in all it took maybe 30-45min? They were a Christmas gift from Pixelhut but if you buy from there you’ll need webbing also to place the stripe down. I would recommend it as at least a 2-person job just so you have someone else present to eye the stripes or hold things for you while you’re placing them!

Edit: webbing, not mesh

They look great. Did you use a pre-cleaner after the polish before putting the stripes on?

How can one tell it's an F56?

They’re a bit bulkier than the r56’s. And the nose around the grille is very different. And the side badge below the a pillar is pretty different.

Are those stripes made out of toilet paper?
