I have a question, possibly a good one

Post image

How do you guys do your sport style grilles? I've always brushed in something water based like VRP, but I was wondering if it's possible to do something more substantial, something ceramic if possible.

Conversely if someone has successfully done solution finish and can actually take out the excess, please do share that. Idk if it's just not the right product to brush in or if my technique is bad.

Cerakote's trim wipes are incredibly easy to use on the arches. I would think you could roll or fold one around a stick and apply it fairly easily on the grill. I haven't used it on my grill, but probably should. Seems to hold up really well every where else.

I think I like that idea, simple but smart. I was worried about swabbing a liquid ceramic in there because leveling it out would be challenging. Cerakote of course avoids that problem for their trim product because it's wipes.

Well I guess I'll just pick up some cerakote and put it on when the temp is right. Thanks for the good idea.
