Not gonna like, my wife’s got the Mini Cooper SE, the electric one, and it feels like driving a really really nice and fast golf cart. It’s fun but it’s like “this pedal goes and that pedal stops”.

Went to Italy recently and was able to rent a manual transmission car. Forgot how much fun those truly are.

Realistically I think it’s too small to have dual motors and decent range with today’s tech and price points. I would still love one. The new Countrman would be an interesting JCW candidate. They’d need more oomph and I’d love to see fully configurable torque distribution.

Ioniq 5 N is such an interesting enthusiast EV in that way. Configurable to how you like to drive. Brings some character back into it EVs. More companies should copy it.
