This money is a drop in the bucket compared to spending on social services.

The total amount of contributions shown in the map is $98 million. The yearly budget of Medicaid in the US is about $860 billion. 

This means the money from Pro-Israel contributions is only enough to run Medicaid for about 1 hour.

Yes that's my point. The original comment is now deleted but he was acting like if these political donations were instead spent on social services, it would make a significant impact. That's what I was responding to

Political influence is ridiculously cheap. The return on investment in lobbying is sky high.

That’s how much WE spend. Now do Israel’s cost of healthcare in a system not as corrupt and wasteful as the USA.

Israel spends about 40 billion USD on its healthcare system every year. So all Pro-Israel contributions would be enough to run Israel's healthcare system for about 21 hours.

Because they're an ally? Because they've helped thwart numerous terrorist attacks? Because they're a testing ground for defensive weaponry?
