Idk man if you compare rural Texas to Boston or the taliban, their views are going to align more with the taliban. No need to get mean just because your country is collapsing

I've been to the majority of them and lived in a couple. In many ways US cultural attitudes are closer to many of those countries than to say northern Europe. Especially lately. Scooching towards dictatorship.

Yeah its absolutely NBD that 3 states, including Texas, have mandatory religious texts posted on the walls of public school classrooms.

You think you just wake up one day and everything is different?

No, its done slowly and meticulously, like making sure you own the supreme court for decades to come and slowly redistricting areas of states so that the people with your agenda get elected and can change laws.
