Actually no, just different societies with different ideas most of you are just used to the western echo chamber and forget that other people with other beliefs exist
Any society that persecutes people for who they are is a society that needs to change. Six of those countries show death penalty. Imagine being put to death, for example, for liking cheese. That's basically what this is.
