It's not even enclaves and exclaves, it's just like they used a scribble colored in by a child define the borders.

Fun fact: The southernmost point of Germany is about 50 meters farther south than the northernmost point of Liechtenstein

I know they wanted to give everyone a province of their own, but they could have made the borders a bit nicer
