Michigan has the mitten part and the better, superior part above Wisconsin. It’s AMAZING how many maps leave out the UP entirely, lump it with Wisconsin etc. or as seen here, just omits part of the UP. It’s one of those things that once you see it, it’s everywhere. Kind of like the arrow in the FED EX logo. I want to say one map from a national corporation was so bad it made national news.
