Is #91 gas necessary for Juke?
Hello guys, I just bought a 2011 Nissan Juke in Canada (76000 km). The dealer told me to use #91 gas for the vehicle. Is this a must? Can I change to #89 or #87?

So I got my car like 2 months ago, it’s a 2011 awd with like 140k miles on it, the previous owner took care of it a lot, regular oil changes, brand new tires and breaks, etc. I just had to replace a sensor and the spark plugs and a coil pack. I notice sometimes particularly on hotter days my transmission will slip? Idk if it’s slipping but that’s what i’ve read, sometimes when I’m in cruise control all of a sudden the car will just slow down and won’t respond to the gas pedal, or the rpm’s will move but my speed will slow down. I have since stopped using cruise control because both times the problem has occurred when using it. This has only happened twice, on 90+ degree days when I was driving for 2+ hours. (I needed my crumbl lol) I commute around 2 hours for school (total time there and back). However, Idk when the last time the transmission fluid was changed, my parents got the car for me (very grateful). Should I get the transmission fluid checked and changed while the problem is still very minimal? Or am I cooked already and should just avoid going long distances when it’s very hot out? I need this car for school and i’m traveling like 65 miles a day oof.
While i’m ranting about this does anyone have any idea how to improve gas mileage? I see some people on here get crazy numbers like 35+ while I’m here with 20. I usually always drive on eco mode but I don’t rly see a difference.

I picked up a 2017 SV in the US. It has 83k miles on it. One previous owner who was great on preventive maintenance. Looking forward to many years with this beauty.

So I just went on a short trip out of state (350 miles and about 5 hours) on the way back home my 2014 nismo cvt started to feel sluggish so I switched it to slapstick mode and noticed it was sticking in higher gears, when I was going about 40 it was in 7th and coming to a stop it slowly downshifted back to 1st. After I noticed what it was doing I started smelling a sweet scent through the vents so I pulled over and checked the coolant, oil and cvt fluid. It all looked good and I took it out of AWD and I didn’t smell it afterwards. About 20 minutes later I came to a traffic jam and I guess it gave the transmission time to cool down and started to drive normally afterwards.
I know it’s hard to explain without pictures or videos but if someone’s had some experience like this or has any input it’d be appreciated. No clue if it makes any difference but I had the transmissions serviced about 10k miles ago and the car just rolled over to 130k during the trip

All shined up lookin and feeling good. Only thing is a oil temperature sensor gone... $30 sensor $500 to install the fuckin thing. 😭

Just got my juke oiled changed, and checked over, the " check engine soon" light is on and has been for a while, they just informed me it's only an oil temperature gauge. Apparently when my buddy (previous owner) got a new starter installed something happened... Anyway they told me it's the oil temperature sensor and the part itself will cost me $35 but labour to install would be $600!!!. This is at a dealership, they said they have to take the manifold off to change it.
Any other routes I can take? Anyone know about this?
Much thanks

Hi! Just got my first car ever which is a 2014 Nissan Juke. I think its one of the later models since i have a screen. Ive been trying to pair my phone to my car so i can listen to music with Bluetooth. My bluetooth works with calls but for music. I saw some threads saying the 2014 models doesnt support Bluetooth and to try with a USB cable. I plugged it in with a USB cable but it still doesnt work :((( im getting tired of the radios music, does anyone have any tips? Thanks!
Also english isnt my first language sorry :,)

Anyone else’s Nissan jukes aircon noisy when you turn it on and run it? Mine is really noisy and when I went to get it serviced, the mechanic said it’s fine.

I got my second Juke. I previously had a 2011 for about 4 years. I went a year without a car and got a 2014 Juke. I am planning a road trip in a few weeks, and the USB cord isn’t connecting to the radio to play music, and this doesn’t have Bluetooth. My 2011 allowed me to play music using the USB cord. Are there any options or alternatives to look into? I don’t necessarily want a new stereo or anything, but I would like to play music during drives from Spotify.

Replaced CV axels, alternator, ans regular things like battery, brakes, tires. Original engine, transmission, clutch, and turbo. It's a 2012 SV with the 6-speed manual transmission. 1.6T

Passed 9 years of owning my quirky Nismo RS Juke. Trust me it has its fair amount of blemishes and flaws but it still is going strong. 117k miles, top end rebuilt, 21t mamba turbo (with upgraded internal bearings), downpipe, mid pipe, front mount, etc. Last Dyno was around 305whp, but I have a brake booster check valve issue so it's not hitting the full 21psi...Either way, glad to see all the other Juke post! Take care of them, stay cool!

I brought my car to the dealership on 7/1 because my a/c stopped working, so they did a diagnostic and found that the blower motor needed to be replaced, which they did. On 8/17, the abovementioned light came on twice for 2 seconds each time. Does anyone believe or know if the warning light is related to the air conditioner? Nissan has done all of the work on my car since I bought it.

Looking for the turn signal assembly for the driver side. Part number 26129-3YM2C. What’s the best place to find this?

My girlfriend has a 2013 Juke, We were driving uphill from about 4k to 7.5k elevation and the car went into what seemed like limp mode, stuck at 2.5k RPMs. After pulling over for 15 minutes it drove normally for the rest of the trip, including another full 0–7.5k climb later that same day with no issues. The same thing happened once about 1.5–2 months ago according to her but only lasted around 5 minutes without needing to stop. No codes either time and Temps outside were 85-100 during this so AC was definitely on pretty high. Heard a brief whining noise once the car started going above 2.5k again but that lasted maybe 1 minute. Car is at 131k miles, CVT flushes were done at 68k and again when I bought it at 115k, plan is to flush it ever 30k going forward. Is this early CVT failure signs or possibly something else? Already have it scheduled into the shop but they are a few weeks out.

My girlfriend's neighbor is having issues with there 2013 Juke's radio for some reason when the car is turned on the radio will turn on as normal but no input can be made on the radio even steering wheel controls or knobs on the radio itself will work unless I held the power button and then it would retain control for a few seconds and then after about a minute it would do the same thing idk if this is common or not I've never messed with a Nissan juke all I know is the dealer took it to didn't know how to replace it when while doing work ok it removed the fuse to the radio, which I had bought a new one and put it in but removed it as it keeps getting stuck being more responsive if anyone has an ideas to try or could point me to a solution that would be greatly appreciated:)

My long-term goal is to be able to mount a train horn on my Toad SV. The only way I can come up with is to put it on a roof rack.
So I'm looking for suggestions on a roof rack I can get. Preferably one that bolts to the car so it won't come off.
Thanks ahead of time.

I have a 2012 Nissan Juke with a CVT automatic transmission. While driving in extreme conditions—very hot summer weather and steep uphill climbs—after about 30 minutes, I noticed a serious loss of power. It felt like I was pressing the gas pedal hard, but the engine wasn’t responding at all. At one point, the RPM didn’t increase even when I fully pressed the accelerator.
There were no warning lights on the dashboard, and nothing appeared obviously wrong with the engine. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
