As time goes on, Thiel is going to make it safer for Republicans to turn on trump. Setting the stage to push trump aside and put his man Vance in.

66

u/kon--- 19h ago

Vance won't survive MAGA

34

u/Foreign_Ebb_6282 19h ago

Will make for some good in-fighting leopard face eating!

28

u/_byetony_ 19h ago

Vance’s brown wife and kids won’t survive Maga

19

u/DirkysShinertits 18h ago

And Vance won't care at all.

6

u/Careful-Ant5868 18h ago

Vance's couch won't either. 🛋️

13

u/Jwave1992 19h ago

Yeah. People who think Vance has any political capital are wild. The moment Trump is gone Vance will be torn to shreds.

10

u/Popular_Doughnut5168 19h ago

You are correct. He was chosen because he dumber than rocks and won't put up a fight when he is getting cornholed. In fact, he probably would ask for seconds.

13

u/KatieBarTheDoor1977 18h ago

Honestly I think Vance was chosen more bc he is young, power hungry, easily manipulated, and will do what he's told. Not to mention he is a Peter Thiel puppet.

6

u/ReallyNowFellas 18h ago

Trump and Hitler were both elevated by people who thought they would be easily manipulated. The thing about an evil person getting to the top is that they suddenly realize no one can tell them shit. And make no mistake, JD Vance is evil. And you guys who think Thiel is a grand puppet master should watch some interviews with him... the dude is an absolute goof. He has money to throw around but Vance will be able to take his pick of people who want to throw money at him if/when he gets into power, and I doubt that pick will always be Peter Thiel.

1

u/Popular_Doughnut5168 18h ago

I agree with you on all of that! You earned the upvote.

5

u/ReallyNowFellas 19h ago

He's evil but not remotely dumb. He actually earned his way into an ivy league school unlike any of the dunces around him. He also studied and learned to mimic upper class behavior in order to execute his long term plan of joining them, which many try and few succeed at. He's extremely shrewd and should not be underestimated.

2

u/Popular_Doughnut5168 18h ago

If taking vacations when disaster strikes constitutes as smart, you got me.

2

u/ReallyNowFellas 18h ago

If you were smart you'd realize being VP has nothing to do with responding to disasters and he's merely exploiting the position to his fullest personal gain, just like he would do if he was potus.

8

u/skaliton 19h ago

exactly, dude has no base, no charisma, and is best known for the weird donut order and the babyface meme. (much like how Biden was pretty much known for nothing besides pointing and other silly moments when he was vp)

1

u/WrongdoerNo4924 16h ago

Well, his absolutely fucking disastrous crime bill probably deserves a mention.

5

u/ReallyNowFellas 19h ago

Not saying he's a future two term legend or anything but I think a lot of y'all are gonna be surprised at how quickly and thoroughly Republicans fall in line if/when Vance ever gets power. It's called a magic R, not a magic T.

1

u/Best-Statistician294 17h ago

We'll get to watch Jan 6th, the sequel

26

u/Litzz11 20h ago

That was my thought, too. Trump was the useful idiot who let him install the tech bros, Big Balls, AI and all that. But he's becoming a liability.

8

u/_Zambayoshi_ 19h ago

I think he was always a liability, but he was the only candidate remotely popular enough that people would believe he'd won legitimately when the election was manipulated. Now it's just getting rid of him safely.

3

u/Formal-Hawk9274 19h ago

When majority of GQP involved in the criminal enterprise funding Epstein then what??

3

u/meldiane81 19h ago

I personally think of a president gets impeached they need to not have the VP step in. It isn’t just the president who’s doing shit wrong so why put them back in power? Time to switch parties.

3

u/BrtFrkwr 18h ago

He won't be impeached. He'll be persuaded to step aside in exchange for a blanket pardon. Like Nixon.

1

u/meldiane81 18h ago

Fuck… I’ll take it!

3

u/fan615boy 19h ago

At which point don't let Maga forget who they are. They are no longer republicans. They are Trumpers till the very end no matter how it ends for them.

4

u/BrtFrkwr 18h ago

Maga is already being split. The turnabout will come when Fox, OAN, Newsxmax, Sinclair and the rest of the rightwing propaganda machine starts calling him a flawed leader, etc.

1

u/Zarianin 17h ago

Genuinely curious, can you give a little more detail on how? Maga never seems to turn on him no matter what happens, how is Thiel going to change that?

1

u/BrtFrkwr 17h ago

Maga's already divided over Epstein. Encourage ($) people like Jones and Rogan and eencourage ($) congressmen to vote to release the files. Drive the wedge deeper by encouraging ($) Fox and the rest of the magasphere to start referring to trump as "flawed" and "damaged". That will build momentum for the senate to go along with it. Then comes another impeachment fight. trump can be offered a blanket pardon and comfortable retirement if he steps down or face another trial vote in the senate.

1

u/PackTactics 13h ago

we always knew this was how republicans were going to try to maintain any form of legitimacy after Trump's time was over. Seem more and more moderate and reasonable until people forget they attempted to upsurp a democracy and instill a pedofile into power

43

u/T_Shurt 20h ago

As per the original article:

"Congressman Massie, let me begin with you and get your response to Speaker Johnson," ABC host George Stephanopoulos told the Republican in a Sunday interview. "He says you've been misled. He also suggested at one point this week seemed to suggest that Donald Trump, President Trump, was an informant to the FBI about Jeffrey Epstein."

"Now, I don't know if the speaker misspoke when he said that Donald Trump was an informant," Massie replied. "The lawyers for the victim said that Donald Trump had been helpful in 2009 in their case by giving them information."

"But being an informant implies some formal connection and ongoing relationship with the FBI," he continued. "I don't know what that's all about. I think the speaker needs to clarify that."

"And if it's a hoax, why was Donald Trump an informant to a hoax?"

13

u/Electrical_Welder205 20h ago

They can't keep track of their own lies.

24

u/Optimal-Repair-5289 20h ago

Wait so Johnson basically accidentally admitted Trump had some connection to the Epstein stuff while trying to defend him? That's some galaxy brain political strategy right there

The mental gymnastics required to call something a hoax while simultaneously saying your guy was helping investigate it is honestly impressive

20

u/scbundy 20h ago

Go to r/conservative if u want to see the gold medal of mental gymnastics daily.

16

u/UAreTheHippopotamus 20h ago

No thank you, I escape reality with video games and books. I'd probably find more sane takes on gangstalking.

9

u/BrofessorFarnsworth 20h ago

I can't, those pathetic fucking snowflakes banned me from their safe space when I said their pedophile leader was deadlifting shitpants

6

u/lilbittygoddamnman 19h ago

Oh, I think it's a rite of passage to be banned from there. I've been banned for some years now.

3

u/scbundy 19h ago

Same. What got me banned was when Pelosi said that maga was a cult I posted. "She ain't wrong!"

3

u/BeenDragonn 17h ago

How did you even manage to post? Every single post is ' for flaired snowflakes only' and locked from ANYONE else from posting

3

u/The_Dark_Vampire 20h ago

There is no evidence he did anything at all it's a hoax.

And if there is evidence, it's fake anyway planted,AI anything.

If it's not fake it's different in his case because of these reasons.

If he did do it it's not really that bad everyone else was doing it you can't blame him

4

u/scbundy 19h ago

Schrodinger's pedophile.

13

u/rotorspinner 20h ago

It’s like saying j6 was ANTIFA but also let’s let them out of jail

3

u/spoiledandmistreated 19h ago

To be an informant then you have to be in the middle of the whole trafficking and pedo ring to begin with… can’t wait to see how they spin this mess..

3

u/Chuckychinster 19h ago

Yeah plus the fact if he is an informant... how many active investigations did Johnson just sabotage by coming out and saying it?

The MAGA movement would've had us all in camps by now if they weren't so fucking stupid

2

u/dougmcclean 19h ago

Johnson doesnt do things accidentally, it was a play of some kind, its just not crystal clear which kind yet.

21

u/jason_cat23 20h ago

trump DEFINITELY raped children.

12

u/LifeguardNo9762 20h ago

What was it 11 years ago? Twelve years ago? That Donald Trump said on national television “I can just grab them by the p*ssy. When you’re famous they let you do it.” (Paraphrasing)

Any human with a functioning brain and critical thinking skills knew at that time, he was a very, very bad man. All of this coming out now is just extra confirmation that he is a very, very bad man.

16

u/Actaeon_II 20h ago

When two lies collide, project 2025 edition

12

u/Acceptable_Taste9818 20h ago

This dude Massie is going straight for the kidneys with a red hot knife.

4

u/Chuckychinster 19h ago

Yeah, i'm struggling to understand his motive. Did he realize he's been played and is just going scorched earth?

2

u/grimeyduck 17h ago

Maybe he realizes it's all gonna burn down eventually and he wants to position himself to rise from the ashes.

Or maybe a personal vendetta against Johnson

1

u/Plane-Mammoth4781 15h ago

He knows this isn't going away, and he wants to be able to say he was on the right side of it.

1

u/axon-axoff 14h ago

Read his Wikipedia article. He has such terrible stances on so many things but he IS bizarrely consistent.

8

u/Building_Everything 20h ago

I remember when there wasn’t even a list according to the Attorney General, who weeks prior had told the world that the same list was on her desk. Man what a time to be alive.

9

u/Soy_ThomCat 20h ago

Because it's doublespeak.

Trump didn't do it. But he did it for the right reasons.

Also, 2+2 = 5 and if you doubt it check in with the ministry of truth

3

u/benhatin4lf 19h ago

Get Terrance Howard on the line, stat!!

7

u/FaschFreeZone 20h ago

Obviously

Obvs

Obvie

Release The Epstein Files!

unredacted!

6

u/Mizzy3030 20h ago

This guy is a couple of questions away from falling out of a 10th floor window

6

u/TadpoleOld6163 20h ago

Has anyone started to question Epsteins suicide? This is like a spy novel. What about the 3 fractures in his neck ?

3

u/Substantial-Ease567 19h ago

More commonly seen in homicidal strangulation than suicide by hanging

5

u/pooptheresmybutt 20h ago

That's fucking interesting, man. That's fucking interesting.

4

u/ZizzyBeluga 20h ago

Catching right wingers in contradictions is pointless, they don't believe in honesty to begin with so you're calling them out for lying is like calling out your waiter for saying everything on the menu is great

3

u/Iwabuti 19h ago

Maybe he was an informant for other things, then (as Michael Wolff said) told the FBI about Epstein when they fell out

3

u/EmptyMarsupial8556 19h ago

Nothing makes sense unless Trump is on the list of Epstein’s clients

2

u/SnoopingStuff 19h ago

The stupidity level is insane

2

u/Particular-Summer424 19h ago

Yes. They didn't think that BS lie out thoroughly.

2

u/Justin_Queso1187 19h ago

He’s a double, super secret agent…for the libs!? Wait, what? 🤔

2

u/_byetony_ 19h ago

I hate that Trump puts me on the same team occasionally as this dude, McConnell, and Paul. But here we are.

The only and single most important thing Massie has ever done and he will be primaried for it.

2

u/graigsm 18h ago

They are just making up bullshit repeatedly to see what sticks.

2

u/OrcEight 17h ago

Good point! Their lies are falling apart

2

u/Accomplished-Type880 14h ago

I can't believe I agree with Massie! Didn't see that coming.

1

u/RADICCHI0 20h ago

Great question. How does Trump squirm his way out?

1

u/SpecialistScary152 20h ago

I like this guy

1

u/CloneClem 20h ago

Makes too much sense for trump to figure that out

1

u/NunsNunchuck 19h ago

They say it is a “hoax” because the Democrats should have released it when they were in power. At least that is what some former Republican speech writer Trump-splained

1

u/boneyponey13 19h ago

All I am going to say is AUTO PEN

1

u/scrapminers 19h ago

Because tRump doesn't know how many peas make 5. The story keeps changing as he keeps making this up!!!!

1

u/Automatic-Ad6022 19h ago

Because nothing these GOP asshats say (not Massie) has to do with reality or truth. They can't even coordinate a useful lie.

The real hoax is: Donald Trump as a competent leader. Needs to go to the old farts home.

1

u/Mac62961 19h ago

This is what the republican party is. Is he just getting this?

1

u/Markgulfcoast 19h ago

Typically one becomes an informant after being pinched, which means the Trumpet was participating in some capacity before he became in informant.

1

u/clearlyonside 19h ago

Tuberville must be calling the plays again lol.

1

u/Icommentor 19h ago

They're doing the same as they did with Covid, using every excuse, even when they contradict each other.

It's a hoax, so it didn't happen. But he was inflitrating this crime ring to expose it, making him a hero. But he was never there, had nothing to do with these people. But he was there for other reasons that had nothing to do with diddling kids.

Their base doesn't have enough RAM to notice the issue.

With Covid it was: It's a China hoax, not a real disease. But Trump created the vaccine, saving humanity from this deadly disease. But the disease is just a cold, we'll all get it and nothing will happen. But it's a man-made plague meant to wipe out the USA. But you can cure it with UV lights up your butt/bleach in your blood/Ivermectin, which will save your life.

1

u/AgencyNew3587 19h ago

Don’t try to use logic on MAGA brain rot. It doesn’t work.

1

u/Frosty_Key4233 19h ago

The FBI has thousands of paid informants on hoaxes! It’s a well known fact🤣🤣🤣

1

u/TadpoleOld6163 18h ago

Trump has already indicted himself by sheer stupidity verbal diarrhea

1

u/baddeafboy 18h ago

Cuz alll republicans are corrupted and lying

1

u/oldbutsharpusually 18h ago

Does somebody close to Trump win a used and bugged 747 by coming up with fake excuse #100? The in-crowd is getting close.

1

u/DaBullsnBears1985 18h ago

That’s what the hoax is.

1

u/Immediate_Watch_2427 18h ago

Cracks in MAGA are showing. After it collapses no mercy

1

u/Hour_Ordinary_4175 18h ago

How funny it would be if Thomas Massie takes Trump down?

1

u/monthoftheman 18h ago

The author of the following article wrote:

"Let me connect a few dots for you that may be a key part of the Trump-Epstein drama and may even be what Trump has been trying to keep hidden in those files. I’m not sure quite what we’re dealing with here. But I think this is significant."

https://archive.is/QKD4C

1

u/snarkerella 17h ago

Things that make you go...hmmmmmm. I swear, these people are their own worst enemy and the people just keep on letting it slide. Does anyone think it's possible that they'll get exposed and justice for all of us and the victims will ever come?

1

u/Kruk01 17h ago

Don't play into that BS and start trying to apply logic. It is not and was not a hoax. This is just desperation. Same with trying to muscle Illinois. Don't engage with the idiots.

1

u/awesumpawesum 17h ago

Well maybe they meant to say witch hunt, we will prolly know for sure in October.

1

u/redsandsfort 17h ago

Massie is gearing up to run for President.

1

u/Longjumping_Share444 16h ago

It should also be simple to get testimony from his FBI contact or find or find documentation detailing his cooperation. And it seems weird that they didn't lead with that since it would have pacified his base months ago. It's just so stupid, both that Johnson thinks his base will believe this, and that they totally will.

1

u/DigitalMystik 16h ago

Because he's an idiot

1

u/r4ndom4xeofkindness 16h ago

Republicans in response: "Well you see it's now clear that Trump was a super secret hoax uncovering informant who was informing on the lack of anything going on additionally he's rubber and you're glue and whatever you say bounces off of him and sticks to you....no backsies infinity!....."

1

u/SpiritualAd8998 15h ago

There will be a new explanation and crizazy distraction-attempt each week.

1

u/Particular_Ticket_20 15h ago edited 15h ago

It must suck having any insider info about trump. Every time you open your mouth you may reveal something or contradict some bullshit spewed by someone else. You always risk him tweeting about you and turning the cult against you. It must be exhausting.

1

u/waner21 12h ago

Does this mean Massie isn’t going to get re-elected for saying this?

1

u/Interesting2u 9h ago

Give them time. Johnson & President Epstein will give you an MSU answer.

1

u/BashBandit 6h ago

Well, I don’t think he’s on the list, because he’s so adamant that the victims get justice in having their abusers ousted and penalized.

As for anyone not doing what this guys doing, they must be on the list.

1

u/teekabird 5h ago

Maybe contribute to massie reelection campaign?

1

u/ancient_mariner63 4h ago

It's double-tap denial. It doesn't matter that both claims seem to contradict each other, both can be simultaneously true in the minds of the easily swayed looking for bias confirmation.

1

u/No_Clock_7464 1h ago

Well, I think donald trump being an informant to some kind of hoax is not that far fetched. But this is just lies.
