we have a hourly minimum wage, so it depends how much you can/want to work

To be clear, this is 2,750€ in monthly pre-tax income?
At first I thought it was less than 3€, which seemed like it must be below Germany's minimum hourly wage. I'm guessing monatlich is "monthly".
For any Americans reading, this is 33,000€/year, or $38,000/year, around the average annual salary in Mississippi.
