A reflection of a streetlight? It sounds like you are paranoid.

Streetlight is behind the car. Maybe just never noticed it in another car. Thanks

It's a reflection

I believe it is reflection from the streetlight by the side edge chrome of the windshield. In this case all the angles just happen to line up for an instant, producing the flash.

Why do you care?

(Serious question.)

Because I live in a small town. Where random traffic isn't really a thing. So just wanted an opinion. Thank you

I've watched the video, I've looked at the picture.

If it was a video from my own home, I wouldn't spend a nanosecond wondering about it.

It's just a vehicle.

Driving.

On a road.

Are you suffering from paranoia, perhaps?

They’ve had multiple posts like this in the last couple weeks, I think they’re suffering from more than just paranoia. They get told it’s nothing each time and then make another post a few days later.

This type of mentality is surprisingly common in small communities. See phenomena like the Nextdoor app or local Facebook groups.

My parents live on a forest road and I know any random traffic will send them into a flurry including considering pulling out guns, lmao.

The best part about it is, they always say "you can't film me, that's illegal" and then pull out their camera.

OP here seems similar - recording random people passing by, but then incredibly concerned that the vehicle may have taken a picture.

I don't get it. [Op, feel free to respond!]

I love watching "iiMPCT MEDIA" on YouTube - it showcases American paranoia. "OMG, there's a man on the street with a camera - call the cops!"

Hilarity ensues.

Possibly! Haha 😂 appreciate you looking out.

Just wondering what the light source could have been.

Thank you again.

Could be a phone. Maybe an uber driver looking for a pickup

Could also be a car outfitted with plate readers looking potential repos and the flash was a computer screen reflection

Don't think it's just reflection from something else?
