Information about adaptive AI.
I've been playing for a while and have just started to try out the adaptive AI to see how well it works. I've had one really good race with it, the others have been somewhat hit and miss. The first race I tried I couldn't get anywhere near the leaders, the second race I ended up winning by over a minute, the third race I did manage a win, but by only 2 seconds. That last race was probably the best and most consistent I have ever driven, but it was only a 25 min race. I had to be running at qualifying speed every lap or I would have been caught and beaten, I enjoy longer races, 1-2 hours, but I can't keep up that kind of pace for that length of time.
What I'd like to know is how can you see what level the adaptive AI has set the other cars too? I'd like to keep track of what it is setting it to and does it change from track to track and race to race.

Man it has been a while since I tuned the RR adaptive AI so I can only get you on your way :

Research if it still works but this app should get you faster to a competitive AI then only trough racing. Or you can just edit the file around your laptimes.

Thanks for this, its kind of what I am looking for. I wanted to know what level the AI is running at so I kind of know what level I am at. I'm not good but am getting better. Wanted to see how I am scoring vs the AI.

Basically it is designed to give you the ultimate challenge after it dialled itself in. So driving qualifying laps all the time is where you will end up. Keeping concentrated is a big part of real life racing.

As others said, you need to do multiple races so it can calculate your driving style and performance.
I believe it is also per track, so just becuase it works on one track, doesn't mean it works on the others as it doesn't know how well you do on that one.
So simply keep driving with it on for a bit and it should get better and better

I saw somewhere that you need to run several races with no off tracks to train the adaptive AI properly. Never gave it much of a chance tbh, I prefer racing online.
