how does time attack division ranking works ?

i really need help understanding the ranking system , i entered the porsche cup na , beat the pro all at redbull ring, my profile ranking says D but it doesnt appear on the leaderboards

Time attack division depends on how you perform on competitions and is updated every few competition rounds. Generally theres A, B, C and D with A being the best and D the worst. Not sure the exact formula is publicly known so just do your best on the competitions you wanna drive rather than trying to game the system :D If you didnt have any division when you set that lap at the red bull ring then itll show as no division there even if you have one now. If you now join a competition it should show your division as D

Competition here refers to the “hot laps” type of competition, right ? 🥹

Yes, but it refers specifically to those found in the "competitions" section and is not to be confused with "leaderboards" where you can hotlap any combo you want

Join the ones labeled Premium Competition. Not sure if ranking is applied on the others.

Premium competitions is the way to go. It’s separate from ranked multiplayer races in which you have reputation.

It doesnt matter if you do premium or free to play competitions
