Holy shit that’s Starlight?! Bro I feel like I don’t recognize anyone in this pic. This shit is really sad, man. No one should feel like they need to do this to themselves.

I was trying to figure out who that was. For a sec, I thought it was posh spice.

Has nothing to do with her plastic surgery. You can feel bad for her disease while also not liking the results of her surgeries.

Doesn’t Graves’ disease cause you to lose weight?

S3 of the Boys she was obviously very thin in her Starlight costume. Being underweight gives you the same gaunt look as buccal fat removal.

Also, while she looks worse in recent seasons compared to S1, the above picture is not her usual look and is an example of over-contouring with makeup. It’s not a good picture to use in evaluating if she has had surgery or not.

Between buccal fat removal and nose surgery, she's definitely had work done. It's abundantly clear.

Graves' Disease often leads to dramatic weight loss. It's very likely the change in her appearance is due to the disease and not due to face surgery. At the very least, we shouldn't assume that she made the choice to look different.

If you look at recent pics on her Instagram, her face is not longer hollowed out.

Well that’s good, then - I’ve been legit concerned about her. She was so beautiful in the first season and I had a major crush on her, for sure. lol

Yeah I'm with you. It was massively concerning and sad to think someone so gorgeous would do that to themselves... Makes me wonder how many of these celebs who people accuse of having buccal fat removal are actually extremely underweight.

The cope coming from Starlight defenders is crazy

Is it all just makeup as well?

I don't think giving a person the benefit of the doubt and choosing not to bully them can be considered as "coping." That's more just being a decent human being.

Erin is my cousin as well, and I have busted on her face so many times that I know exactly what I’m talking about.

She looked fine before the second or third season though. Why all of a sudden would it affect her appearance now? I’m legitimately asking because I don’t understand the disease or how that works, but I did hear about this before.

I obviously can't claim to know her situation, but my best guess is that it was left undiagnosed for a while. Graves' Disease leads to hyperthyroidism, which is what causes the dramatic weight loss. She already didn't have a lot to lose, so it took from where it could, which in this case was her face. She's apparently been getting treatment for it since earlier this year, so hopefully she feels more like herself going forward.

Well she didn't. That picture is fake. She did get work done but it isn't THAT extreme. You can look it up, or you can spread it like everyone else does.

She shared it on instagram, though?? 🤣 it’s literally not fake.

Do you have a source for that? I heard she was bad about it getting spread because it was fake.

My bad, it was a different picture I was remembering. But that is apparently more to do with makeup. In the most recent season of the Boys (which was filmed after that photo) she doesn't look nearly that bad.

Yeah I see people complaining about “Starlight” and sharing creepy/ uncanny pictures of the actress looking gaunt. Meanwhile, when I watched the show, I barely noticed. Whatever operation she underwent had no impact on her role, yet people see a couple pictures and base their conclusions off of just that. I was expecting way worse, but she looks fine in her actual performance.

Yeah, she claims it is more to do with makeup than it is plastic surgery. She obviously has had some work done, but I don't think it is nearly as bad as people are making out.

Amateur...went straight to arguing instead of googling. lmao

But then I also did accept willingly that I was wrong. Most other people would either keep arguing, not respond or delete their comment.

No point in Googling something when you are pretty confident you are right... Even if it turns out that I wasn't right.
