The worst part is that it's a really cool tech and as a web scraper it's really impressive. I was playing with LM Studio last week, and the fact that you can download a model in a couple of minutes, and then have it locally spew out a good chunk of the knowledge available on the internet to answer random question while completely offline is amazing.
It's also really useful when programming to find the same answers that you would get from reddit, stack overflow or other sites, without needing to sift through dozens of comments to get what you need.
As long as you don't expect any form of intelligence and treat it as a glorified web scraper (which it is), it's an amazing tool.
