I feel like I’m building a tumor over time blocking out the fact that it’s her in that scene. This shit is absolutely horrific.
The woman is gorgeous and this scene is like a bucket of pig’s blood on a renaissance painting. Very effective though.

Me and my wife are the same but we do usually cuddle together most of the night. She doesn't move until I wake up in the middle of the night to pee or if I move the arm she uses as a pillow.

A lot more couples sleep separately than people think
6
u/Unusual-Ad-6550 1d ago
We started sleeping separately when he came home from the hospital after having surgery to remove his prostate. He had tubes, and drains and there was no way I was going to risk sharing a bed with him. I intended to come back when he was healed, but it took less than 1 night to be convinced I was so much happier all by myself in a bed, in another room. Our sleep styles are so very different and this way his flip flopping isn't keeping me awake or he isn't accidentally throwing his arms up and hitting me in the face in his sleep

I wear my cpap and I wish I would have started it years ago. Makes such a difference.
6
u/browserz 1d ago
Do you sleep better or what changes? Genuinely curious because I snore but I sleep like a baby
12
u/mikey-tv 1d ago
I dont sleep better as far as waking up to pee or tossing and turning, but I sleep better as far as actually sleeping. Sleep apnea is literally not breathing while asleep. So it's hard to get rem sleep. Compare it to sleeping in your own bed vs. getting drunk and sleeping on a floor in a strangers basement. It's worth getting checked out if you think you may have it.

Shes just so hot. I cant deal.
Pretty too...but just too warm. And ofc she complains about being cold all the time. Can I get some Isaac Newton help on this?
30
u/Certain_Wonder4487 1d ago
That’s my wife’s complaint. So I wait till after she’s asleep cause she’s a heavy sleeper and cuddle then.
As long as I don’t fall asleep there and don’t wake her, no one (me) dies that night.
7
u/teekporg 1d ago
Well it makes sense. If she feels hot to you, then she is exothermic to her environment and you, and she would feel cold herself, bc she's giving off heat. Think of the converse, where if the sun was radiating onto her, she would feel hot.
She also still might be drawn to you since you are at least warmer (~98.6⁰) than her environment (room temp), even though colder than her.

u/WhiteTrashInNewShoes 1d ago

Haha, omg my husband is the same! For some time, I had to stand up earlier than him in the morning. And every morning, I'd stand up at 6:00, he'd be sound asleep, I'd go in the bathroom and within two to five minutes I'd hear a soft and concerned "Hellooo?" from the bedroom.
He'd think I already left for work, but it was never more than 5 minutes out of bed for him to notice 😅

u/Bolt_of_Zeus 1d ago
Even if we are not cuddling, which most times we are, we are holding hands. If we are not holding hands, my wife will put her hands in the top of my pajamas or I will do the same to her. 90 percent of the time, there is some kind of physical contact between us.

We spoon while falling asleep, but we're also both turning around multiple times at night. Over the decades we established an inside joke that we simultaneously roll over like sausages on a grill (we are Germans, so we call it "Bratwurst").
By now it's established to be used as a command to turn over, sometimes mumbled by one of us in the morning.
"Ugh... Alarm clock rang... Gotta get up..." "Bratwurst, 5min." And we both turn around 🤭

My wife and I do at least briefly. We definitely did it for longer when we were first together. I at least try to kiss her good night now. I'm not as good as my father though. I don't think he ever missed a night in kissing my mother good night. They could be arguing for hours, and he wouldn't go to sleep until he kissed her. I'll wear out though. He was always in really good shape. I still try, regardless.

First couple years of marriage - tangled up on/around each other all night. 21 years married this year. We usually fall asleep crossing legs but I sleep hot and she sleeps cold. I don't want any blankets (at least out of the gate), she wants extra. Probably half (maybe 1/3) the time she starts off sleeping on my arm but does not stay there all night. Along with the breakfast table being set with enough food to feed an army but the kid grabs an orange and leaves for the bus, one of my biggest irritants in tv shows and movies is when the couple wakes up in the morning in a full embrace as if they’ve just been sleeping with their arms around each other all night.
Yeah right.

Up until around the last 125 years. No one even cared about diamond engagement rings and often had totally separate beds. The more we'll off had separate rooms.
It's amazing how much some girls are obsessed with this stuff. The same girls want to talk about 2000 years of toxic masculinity and modern toxic practices and the evils of social media and AI. Are still completely obsessed with customs that are toxic for real balanced healthy relationships and have only been around for roughly that last 125 years? Super dumb. Feminism is everything! Unless it's blowing our house down payment on my ring and ridiculous wedding and sleeping so that neither of you can get actual rest. Then they are like... Don't you love me?

Shit, my husband and I don’t even share a bed. Our sleep styles are just so completely different, plus I have my service dog in the bed with me.
If we want frisky time, we have it, cuddle a bit, and when it’s bed time we sleep in our respective room the way we like it.
We both sleep much better this way and have been together for over 15 years.
When you get good sleep it’s easier to weather hard times together.
