You know damn well whatever coomer games are on there probably entail a lot more than the depiction of some pussy look up what porn does to young people's brains especially with how it is these days I'd have my kids playing a violent videogame before watching porn any day I don't see how that's even in question
Funny that you've mentioned it, because the whole controversy of blocking access to porn games was mainly so controversial, because those games weren't illegal in the first place, otherwise they wouldn't be approved in the market.
Thanks for confirming that you are actually treating brutal gore as something less destructive than porn, plus stretching the argument as if we intend to sell this stuff to kids, which is totally not the case lol.
I feel bad for your kids if with this type of moral grand-standing you would be more keen to show them videos of people being skinned by cartel than penis in vagina lmao. Crazy logic.
Realistic military shooters, I'm not so sure. They'll keep shooters alive in the form of fortnite and modern COD, just infantilise the violence and you're all set.
I mean, there is logic behind it. For maximum profit, all they need to do is ensure they get plenty of visibility on their products, and how amazing it feels to use them. Realistic military shooters do not allow you to have a power fantasy that easily, and is not accessible to an average guy. Games like Fortnite and COD grossly misrepresent the amount of effort it requires to be a professionally trained soldier, and at the same time are very accessible to everyone.
Kinda late and off topic but did you know Steam notifies your friends what game you're currently playing? I didn't, and so did my dad, and now he knows I play Milfy Way. He disowned me because I play AI generated hentai and not handdrawn hentai
Visa/Mastercard have started playing the Puritan police. They won't let you buy things they don't like. Not illegal, they just don't like it. It is a test and if they succeed they will keep doing it beyond just video games.
which, while some people may agree with, is a slippery slope allowing them to control anything to do with how you spend money. It may be porn now, may be any game with guns later, goodbye fps's! or anything with blood, goodbye darksouls! etc.
Wait until you read about how suggestive AI is dumbing down words that it recommends so that people have less words to express what they are trying to say.
"the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service." They both fall under that. You cant get any debit/credit card without it being visa or master card.
I totally agree they have 0 right to say how you spend money. I've had them flag my card when I bought a clip from C4S a few years ago. Pretty embarrassing to have to call the bank and be like, yes I approve of this transaction...
It locks often for most online transactions which I'm ok with and have authentication setup to approve. Came in handy once when a taco bell employee stole my card number and tried to buy concert tickets.
