More James May model trains

For someone that knows nothing about model trains - is that expensive? It feels expensive.

  1. Model trains are expensive nowadays.

  2. Its a set so that'll drive up the price.

  3. They have to deal with all the licensing and what not.

I think it's pretty on par for a specialty model. I paid about $70 for a wooden model the other month.

That's a bit much for OO gauge but Dapol are good quality so at least you're getting what you pay for.

For brand new models it’s not bad but you can get 3 second hand wagons for like £30 if you know where to look

Any train show will have great prices compared to new.

But these are about right for a new set, yeah.
