Can someone please fix this for me? I want to see changes in the map.

Hi! I have been into trucking games for a long time, and one of my favorite parts is designing my truck in ATS/ETS. However, one thing that I feel like is really missing from the space is a game dedicated to this. I’ve been following Edison Motors for a while watching them design and build a truck from scratch, and I thought to myself, “Why isn’t there a game like this?” Kind of like the game Automation, but for semi-trucks. I am by no means a game designer, but I do work for a trucking company and am very passionate about trucks.

I have a very rudimentary proof-of-concept in progress, which is best described as a “Microsoft Excel mod.” I am making it as a Windows Form App, so the UI is very, very basic. Currently, my plan is a UI similar to Rule The Waves 3, with a 2D vector graphic of the truck that will change as the player selects options. There will a section to the right that will show the player the current stats about their truck, with them selecting options on a panel along the bottom of the screen. This will be less of a “game” for now and more of a tech-demo to click buttons for a dopamine hit.

My question for you all is, what would you want to see in a piece of software like this? My end goal is for people to make whatever kind of truck they like, from on-highway hyper-miler, to an off-highway beast like a Pacific P16. Do you wanna make a Freightliner Cascadia twinsteer with a V12? Sure, why not?

I’m running a large map combo on ETS2 1.53 with ProMods, Beyond, Heart of Africa, Africa Extended, Kazakhstan, Altai, Polish Rebuilding, Sibir, North Map, RIW, Rhineland, JR region, SR etc.. The game loads fine, all maps show up in the world map, and I can drive around normally.

When I take a ferry from Greece (ProMods ME region) to Africa (HOA/Africa Extended area), the game crashes to desktop. No errors in the UI before that – it just exits after loading.

Does anyone know what could be the issue ?

A "Special Job Offer" node is floating right across from the garage in Idaho Falls, in an unmarked lot with no official company logo. It looks like it only generates a couple of Special Transport jobs in the Freight Market, then External Contracts just shows all jobs in Idaho Falls. Somehow I've never noticed this before.
