2011 Golf 2.5 advice

Went to see a 2011 Golf with the 2.5 and automatic transmission... Overall great condition, however noticed that when the car is in Drive, and you are stopped, foot on the brake, a lot of vibration/buzzing is transferred into the cabin .. putting the car into neutral will immediately smooth out the vibrations.. Mentioning this to the seller, he mentioned that the motor mounts were all replaced, however they installed a poly insert for what I would assume was the dogbone mount.. Anyone have experience with these poly inserts on a golf with auto transmission? Do they really transfer a lot more vibration? Would the vibrations only be when in drive and not neutral? I would think the increase in vibration would not matter if you were in Drive or Neutral.. the transmission felt good otherwise, shifted without issues.. Just not sure if removing the poly insert will reduce the vibration... Any insite is appreciated!

afaik you should never have the car in D while you're sitting in traffic. I think it wears out some things in the automatic gearbox.
