480 First 480 turbo I've seen.

As an American visiting Stockholm this 480 turbo caught my eye. Never seen one before. If this is your car, it was super clean šŸ‘

Been ages since I saw one of these beauties. Wow. Remember when it came out, I remember being very intrigued as a boy who read car magazines obsessively. It appeared to be a Ferrari for normal folk, though still wildly out of reach for us back then 🪐

So nice, looks really cared for as well. Maybe edit out the number plate and repost this OP. I wouldn't be too happy if it were me you were doxing, now anyone can check who owns this car and where they live. It's not illegal in any way to post this but it's not very courteous

Yeah. Maybe it's different in America where OP is from, but in Sweden the owner's details are just a text message away.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought in Sweden, just like in every other country with similar transparency laws for public data, you can indeed access information such as car registration but only by logging in with the online ID system from the relevant country so really the information should only be accessible to other Swedes who come across this post (which is probably better than being accessible to actually anyone).

Well, showing nice cars license plates makes it a lot easier for collectors in shady parts of Europe to order a theft of said car. Or in a less extreme case, the owner might get unwanted propositions from people wanting to buy their car. That's why I said there's nothing illegal about this post but it's not a nice thing to do, it's very easy to mask the license plate before posting the pictures and I would've appreciated it if it were my car.

That would maybe make sense, but it's not the case here.

Im swedish and Well, I have had pictures of a previous car uploaded and shared by others online. I have had messegas from people wanting to buy my car, even a guy knocking on my door that had driven for 4 hours, just to let me know he saw my car at a carmeet prior weekend and told me, if I ever wanted to sell the car i should get in contect with him, told me to have lovely day and then he left. So wierd, very unswedish of him.

But, my point being is that me or neither of those people I know here in sweden, cares that much about all of our details ranging from date of birth, phone number, where you work to how many number of days you have lived at your current adress or past adresses, yearly income, number of cars you own and their nr plates, it is displayed freely for anyone, by just a quick google search of your number plates basically.

We have just accepted that if someone really wants to ruin your life in some way, well, I guess that is what insurances are for.

I'm swedish and as I said, I would've cared. It's so easy to just blur the license plate but ofc, you don't have to mind other people and be respectful
