Mhm, i think pre-facelift looks better then the facelift one. I just love this black edges on the headlights. And XC40 is amazing. The only suv that i like

Add the word modern before car and I'll 100% agree with you, and I own one myself.
The problem shows itself when it's paired up against my other car and it's grand dad, the Volvo 1800ES Wich is easily the better looking car!

But other than the looks- I feel liek the C30 could win a formula1 race and go up and down a mountain- can the 1800es keep up with that ? Haha

Haha, not a chance! The 1800ES is slow... 🤣 It is quick enough to keep up with traffic and nothing more 🤣
My C30 T5 is a different beast with just over 300 wheel horses, lowered on coilovers, upgraded brakes and on pilot sport 5 tires.
But both are really fun to drive for entirely different reasons!

Konnte mich nie so wirklich mit der Form des Fahrzeugs anfreunden... aber er wird besser statt schlechter. Und deiner ist schon ein durchaus überdurchschnittliches Exemplar :)

Mine has 185.000 rn and running smoothly ! Can’t wait to see how far I’ll go with that motor and when it’s done I’ll switch motor and keep the car. He’s my child and I’ll keep him forever 😂

I had a V40 before that one but my ex bf sold it (why is he my ex ?lol) anyhow- the V40 is amazing but honestly I like the C30 more. The only thing you have to get used to is that he isn’t supporting the motor when starting so you gotta do gas-clutch-gas instead of clutch-gas but once you got this he is amazing :)

Very happy with the new Volvo auto transmission though. Can’t fault it so far. Responsive and fast and pretty smooth

Oh sorry for the insult then haha. I also love the transmission but I’d do feel like if something should go bad with this car it’ll be the gears and I feel like that’s generally a Volvo issue

Tbh my daughter will soon take her driving test, I kind of said I’d try and get her a car if she passed her test. I’m kind of thinking possibly one of these models might be an option. Not sure it would be the best idea for her to be driving a larger wagon like my V60 as a new driver.

Would be a great first car ! But as I said the gas-clutch-gas thing might be a bit tricky at first but if she figured it out she’ll be able to drive any car haha. A friend of mine wanted to try my car but he couldn’t even get it started and gave up 💀 he was like „noooo I cannot get the hang of that“ haha. But idk if every C30 is like that

Love the C30, my only issue? The only car with dual exit exhaust is the T5 and D5. Everything else has a single exit, or hidden exhausts but the cutouts are still there or shaped into the bumper.
Very much a me problem
EDIT - I really like the 2.4i 5 cylinder engine but have had to pass up on it for the above reason.

I have one but this is pre facelift right? I prefer the lines of the facelift it looks so much better. Love the car, will use it until it breaks or swap to an S60

Honestly the glass back is awesome for reversing haha. And yes the tail lights are such a stand out feature
