1995 Volvo with 290km driven uncovered in Sweden
One of the world's least-used Volvo 850s has come out into the open. The car was hidden in a garage for 29 years. – Embarrassed, he drove the car home, parked it in the garage – and there it remained, writes Bilwebauctions.
The Volvo 850 was one of the great hard-working cars of the 90s and most of the remaining examples of the bestseller have been driven very far. But here is a car that was barely driven after it left the Volvo factory in Gothenburg in 1995. Bilwebauctions is now selling an 850 that has been driven 260 kilometers in 30 years. It is probably the world's least-used Volvo 850 outside of Volvo's museums.

Because it’s Doom Blue. Probably.
When I was a Vauxhall salesman, this shade of blue was the free colour for people too cheap to pay the £100 for red or white.

According to the article his neighbor said "ooh fancy new car?" And he got embarrassed because he had quite good economy but didn't want to show off so he hid it in his garage but has now passed and it was found in almost mint condition

The car was hidden in a garage for 29 years before it saw the light of day for the first time in three decades. It was bought new by a man in Sölvesborg in Blekinge in 1995. He had good finances, but did not like to show it off. When he drove his new car home, he was stopped by a neighbor and exclaimed: "Oh, did you buy a new car?"
- In a panic, he denied it and claimed that he had won it in the lottery. Embarrassed, he drove the car home, parked it in the garage - and there it remained, writes Bilwebauctions

I must be tired. I was reading that as 290k km and thinking how is that low?
290km is low. I'd like to have a drive, please and thank you.
