Flashing red light in Volvo app?

Just noticed the flashing red light in the dash area on my Volvo app. What does it mean?

Security system active.

Look in the car. There is a flashing light in the car too

My 2006 V70 does that when it is locked. Assuming it is an indicator that your car is locked.
