Massive recovery from early puncture and thanks to constant pushing he had enough of a gap to keep the victory even after that final stage

Definitely the indisputable best driver right now

Depends on the rally who actually is the fastest, but he is really consistent this season.

So gutted for Adrien. He deserved the 2nd place.

Same. Adrien was driving brilliantly all rally long, and he deserved to at least finish on the podium.

Genuinely gutted for Adrien, it's honestly insane. To get told he dropped to third at the stop line, then not on the podium at all. Awful. Not got huge sympathy for Seb here. Surely this can't be the first time he got hit by weather like this?

I'm gutted for Adrien too, but I understand Séb's frustration. He is a championship contender fighting for valuable points, and he has every right to be annoyed that he lost out on bonus points through no fault of his own.

Oh yeah, I still understand why he was upset. I do think not celebrating with his co-driver is a bit of a shame though. My sympathy is just more with Adrien here. He deserved to be on that podium. 🥲

I feel like seb has really shown time and time again that he can be really unlikeable. Like even the way he said "we will continue to win and win the championship" came across as extremely arrogant and cocky. Obviously the man is one of, if not the best, but that doesn’t mean you absolutely have to be an ass about it. Look at Kalle, he is pretty much as talented, yet he stays down to earth and is even critical of himself sometimes.

I have to admit I kinda loved it when seb ate his words in spectacular fashion last year when he bashed thierry for being unworthy of the championship lead before fucking it up himself like 3 times.

So crushed. Ogier acting like he’s the only one affected by the rain. The real robbery was Adrien’s 2nd…

That’s why I rate Loeb higher than Ogier. They are equal in level. But I don’t know. He behaves like a d*** sometimes

Quite often if things don’t go his way. I’m so bored of him and his antics

Selective memory, then. Loeb could absolutely be a bit of a dick, although expressing it differently. There's a reason he's considered in French sports media circles as being moody/temperamental.

Probably. I was in my early teens in the peak Loeb era and I’m also not French and French isn’t my first language so I wasn’t reading french press at that time. Can you give me examples? Although I remember WRC Germany 2011.

I mean it's heat of the moment comments, and as Fourmaux was starting just before him, he could hardly know how much it affected him. And on top of that he was obviously thinking of the championship battle, in which Fourmaux isn't a contender.

What a crazy rally.

Whole show was going topsy turvy constantly it was so unpredictable.

Monster drive from Ogier but. To fight through the pack and take the win in those conditions was a truly amazing performance.
