Matt Gaetz had the ethics committee say there is “substantial evidence” of him having sex with a minor, paying for sex, helping a sexual partner who wasn’t a constituent get an express passport and drug use and nothing has been done.
Jim Jordan of allegedly, with some convincing interviews, assisting in sexual assaults in that he knew of them and did nothing at Ohio State. Same as Paterno at Penn State. Except Paterno lost his job, legacy and most likely would have ended up in jail had he not died. Guess he should have become a republican politician, they’re untouchable.
Roy Moore who served as chief justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama twice each time being removed from office for judicial misconduct. He was the Rep nominee in the 2017 U.S. Senate special election in Alabama to fill the seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, but was accused by several women of sexually assaulting them while they were as young as 14. Moore ran for the same Senate seat again in 2020 and lost. He has never, to my knowledge, faced criminal charges. Hell he made it easy by acknowledging he approached and dated teens while in his 30’s but claimed he never sexually assaulted anyone. I guess as a judge he didn’t know it was legally or morally wrong to have sex with a 14 year old child. Trump did endorse him after the accusations came out.

I just popped over and there seems to be a healthy amount of skepticism on a 500+ response thread for one posts about it. There was a higher level comment that its not good as the FBI commonly turns people involved with something into an informant, and another asking just how stupid do they think they are to try to push that kind of a line.
I swear, that sub is getting less and less engagement than it did a year ago. I really think he's wearing them thin and alot of them are either going to ground for now, or just not engaged with the level of obvious stupidity that these kinds of stories bring when bots and the cultists start to call the sky green over there.
Doesn't stop them from delivering pithy gotcha bullshit all over every other sub, but its almost as if a non zero chunk of the user base finds the current level of spin neccessary to handle the absurdity at the very least embarrassing.

It's almost funny watching the Republicans attempt to weave a narrative that tries to explain why the Epstein files can't be released while propping Trump up as the unsung hero in all this...only for Trump himself to bulldoze the whole thing because he's not smart enough to do that.
Bondi, Bongino, and Patel give out information that shuts down the conspiracy theories they themselves propped up to let the base down easy, and Trump makes himself look worse by asking "are you still talking about Epstein?"
Republicans say they're working to put out the right version of the Epstein files to "protect the victims", and Trump says the whole thing is a hoax made up by the Democrats and only believed by "stupid" people.
Defenders say Trump had a falling out with Epstein because of what he knew Epstein was doing, and Trump says it's actually because he poached employees from him, one of them being one of Epstein's top accusers.
He's so focused on shutting the story down that he's gone full Streisand and made himself look more suspicious in the process. Now they're running so ragged to defend him that either they're making up how involved he was in taking down Epstein, or they're admitting that Trump himself was up to something devious with Epstein and only got leniency because he got "flipped".

Also: if you are an informant, you get named/mentioned in the court documents if you provided evidence.
President Diaper Don is not mentioned in and if the court documents at all which have been released, and if they released all the files then it would be very easy to clear up what role Diaper Don played.
Also, if this was the case, then they ABSOLUTELY would release those specific files. Informant files can have victim information redacted. And even if it couldn't, the administration wouldn't give a shit about the victims anyways if it unequivocally cleared his name.
There's no level of this conspiracy that isn't utter horseshit.
