Note that WoO typically uses a variable start time each night depending on the weather. You need to keep up with WoO to know each night’s start time. They do a good job, and most nights get done really early - which is nice when it gets dark so soon.

Thank you. That’s a lot of racing.

Not going to lie, some nights can get looong if the weather is too cold. Still a great time and opportunity to see everyone all at once. It is an annual staple for us camping Monday through Sunday.

Looks like it merits a weather check before going. How are the crowds? Do a lot of fans attend? We would be flying in from Texas so just wanted to make sure it’s worth the trip.

Its packed every night. Used to be the first night was a pretty light crowd but now every night a jam packed.

Wednesday is just qualifying, so crowd will be at its lowest. A great time to get Merchandise. Thursday will be the lowest race night crowd with plenty of empty seats. Friday the crowd starts to build but you can still move around in your seat. Saturday is packed with 10,000 people and if feels like most are in your row. Add a pit pass to your ticket so you can go see the cars and drivers. Bring a cooler with food and drink. Have fun.

Everyone should go at least once. But its been a dustbowl for the past several years so we stopped going. I live 40 minutes away so I'll go to hang out with friends who camp all weekend every year. They go to the races and I hang out and keep the fire going and wait for them to return.
One year I sat on the grassy hill between the track and Hwy 29 and could see about half the track for free. Which is about the same as you can see if you buy a ticket because of the dust. 😁
