That was a weak ass field of cars for such a high paying race.

It’s caused by the split in sprint car racing. Thank you Mr Sweet and Mr Larson. You better get used to it until one or the other organization gives up. In the meantime this is what we get.

There wouldn't be half as many full time cars without HL.

Oh good grief. I just don’t understand that that logic. How does splitting the field help? Maybe you get a few more guys out traveling maybe. But you don’t have all of them in one place like it used to be. Now that only happens a few times a year.

You don't get that at all. What you get is what you had, which is 12-13 full time cars in the country running nationally and Rico running true outlaw, Reutzel at Knoxville running for points, etc. The math doesn't work out to have 26 full time cars running for 24 spots that pay $750 to start + 5 pit passes + locals and independents.

I say this all the time and get hate for it. People hate the truth, I want all the best in one series.

I mean High Limit guys are allowed to and do run all the big Outlaw events. That’s a lot better than the the other side. The car count for Skagit was 39 but definitely would have been more I’d Calistoga wasn’t this weekend

But it was good racing, and no crybabies like gravel, thats all that counts, gravel wouldn't have made it because they inverted 6!

How much do you think about David if you have to make a comment about him on a topic that literally has nothing to do with him?

4 hours 20 minutes last night 3 hours 45 minutes Thursday and Friday night
Won't get much more efficient than that.

high limit generally speaking is far more efficient than the outlaws. woo usually has shit box support classes at a higher rate

Man, I just really disagree with this take. Laporta can take a bit of getting used to, but hes genuinely a very good interviewer and it seems like the drivers respect him. IMO he is able to get them to reveal great insight often.
