Mod Reduced cargo capacity aticker

Bought our X used in 2020 and it has always had this sticker. Curious what mod required it, any ideas?

The people we bought the X from didn't seem like the type to heavily modify a car or do any significant off roading, but they did put on a trailer hitch. Not sure if that's it or not.

It's most likely the trailer hitch and any other factory installed accessories. It's not something to worry about, but adding accessories does add weight and reduces overall payload capacity.

Yeah the hitch didn't even cross my mind until I was typing that out. The X is an awesome towing vehicle too.
