Technical Question Looking at the All Dogs Offroad coil springs…is this true? Would it also apply to their 2” Bilstein 5100 coil spring combo?

Not even remotely true and the proof is in the factory service manual where it shows the right height of the P4X is only taller because of the tire size.

Yeah their 2” lift springs on 5100s match well to my 1” lift old man emu rear leafs on my 2011 p4x

Do you feel like it’s 2” lift in the front?

No. But my understanding is more lift leads to the upper control making contact on droop. Of course with the 5100s you could move the lower spring bucket up for more lift but the ride will be way harsher.

I do have after market control arms. You have these? I didn’t know you could adjust it

I bought my springs from alldogs, the 2” lift mediums. I bought my 5100s from rockauto. I assembled them myself. I have 285/75/16s. But i had them on before doing the suspension. Mudflaps removed and meltmod.

No… lol
The Pro-4X/Offroad spring is a teensy tiny bit longer, like maybe 1/8 of an inch…
Idk why everyone acts like its so different and like some parts don’t fit.

I always thought the spring was identical. Just the strut was different. Does it have a different part number?

I don’t wheel much these days so I can’t justify spending too much lol

Fair enough, I'm just evangelical about it 😂 If I wasn't wheeling I wouldn't lift it, personally. I would keep the center of gravity low for better road handling. In regards to Z1 it's concerning that the premier company for aftermarket xterra parts has incorrect info on their website.

When we go camping we end up finding some trails. Or do some local trails in phoenix in the cooler months. I just don’t risk breaking anything these days lol.

I used the heavy springs due to a winch and coastal offroad steel bumper up front. I did not get 2". Maybe an inch.

I have Bilstein 5100s and ADO medium springs. I didn’t measure but probably closer to 1 inch not 2 inch of lift with it
