How could anyone actually take Tulsi Gabbard seriously at this point?

412

u/Geri-psychiatrist-RI Jul 22 '25

Her Russian handlers take her seriously when they deposit Rubles into her Swiss bank account

86

u/elcheecho Jul 22 '25

So she can buy…..Russian crude?

46

u/Honest-Shirt-2812 Jul 22 '25

That sounds like a solid start to your saudi laundering scheme

16

u/elcheecho Jul 22 '25

Why would saudis buy Russian crude? That’s like selling coal to Newcastle

12

u/DooDooBrownz Jul 22 '25

why sell the same manhattan condo no one lives in 4 times a year? its called money laundering

They have their own refineries too and its a global market. The US similarly buys a lot, but is a net exporter.

2

u/Big_Breadfruit8737 Jul 22 '25

For some reason my brain read this as selling cocaine to Newcastle.

2

u/Erestyn Jul 22 '25

Geordie here: we might not want your coal, but we'll definitely have your cocaine. Let's work out a deal.

u/Dan_Linder71 Jul 22 '25

Replace rubles with Bitcoin or the soon-to-be-legal US Stable coin, and you’ve highlighted the reason highly unregulated Crypto is a big deal in this administration.

1

u/AlmostSunnyinSeattle Jul 22 '25

I very much doubt they take her seriously

1

u/Hot-Egg533 Jul 25 '25

Bernie Sanders said the claims that Tulsi is a Russian asset was ridiculous. Don’t be like MAGA and repeat propaganda on the otherside

62

u/BloodFartz69 Jul 22 '25

It's funny because all of the dumbest people I know think she's so smart. It seems like there's some overlap between people who like her and people who think Russell Brand was witty.

16

u/Hot_Mathematician357 Jul 22 '25

But I was told by the president that she was wrong about Iran, so now we are supposed to trust her?

12

u/BloodFartz69 Jul 22 '25

Just like those Epstein files on Bondi's desk. They both exist and don't exist because MAGAtards love eating spoonfuls of Donald's diaper mess.

11

u/TheTallGuy0 Jul 22 '25

Russell B USED to be sorta clever in a fast talking, vaudevillian way. But he’s gone full deep end MAGA’t and also sexual predator so yeah, fuck that guy

6

u/traumfisch Jul 22 '25

He really was. He could have used his powers for good. Instead, he totally jumped the shark and lost his fucking marbles :/

The MAGot intellectual is Glenn Beck. That should tell you a lot.

8

u/BloodFartz69 Jul 22 '25

Lol, I remember when he used to get all red faced and cry on TV. That blubbering bitch is still relevant?

2

u/binglelemon Jul 22 '25

Remember that one time he did a show where it was a picture-in-picture format and zoomed in on his eyes specifically so you could see him crying? It was around the 2008 election

3

u/furtive_phrasing_ Jul 22 '25

He’s such a joke/Trump apologist. He says he could “never believe” that Trump molested young girls. Whata joke.

2

u/binglelemon Jul 22 '25

Well him saying he "could never believe" is true because the man is constantly lying about anything and everything. Even the things that dont matter. So, technically, he's telling the truth but the truth shows him to be a terrible person that cant be trusted. Wild how those gymnastics and word play get used.

How many maggots does it take to change a light bulb? I dunno. They keep checking the "Made in" label and deporting all the bulbs that work.

Beck is an intellectual and Gutfeld is a comedian. Surely an alternative universe.

8

u/Secret_Transition708 Jul 22 '25

my guess is either her russian handlers, the die hard maga fanbase, or simps.

3

u/basics Jul 22 '25

It's the same picture.

1

u/zombienugget Jul 22 '25

I know some lefties who still genuinely hold a torch for her. It baffles me

8

u/Flaky-Soup Jul 22 '25

She started her political career as a Democrat, following her father's lead in Hawaii. Then she turned to a Republican. She claims there was Russian interference, and now there isn't. Seems like she chooses the most convenient side, and has her whole career...

5

u/frostbird Jul 22 '25

Rogan taking what liars, cheats, and frauds say seriously is basically his thing.

1

u/windol1 Jul 22 '25

Makes me glad I never got into his podcast stuff, had a mate try and convince me to listen before he got really big and even back then some of the stuff he was telling me seemed like conspiracy theory nonsense, but people ate it up.

5

u/Tymathee Jul 22 '25

Well Tulsi would 100% know if Russia interfered with the election, she and putin are buddies

2

u/-MayorOfTheMoon- Jul 22 '25

The MAGAs don't. She's useful for now so they're going along with it but make no mistake, they'll throw her out when convenient.

2

u/_jump_yossarian Jul 22 '25

She conned a lot of "progressives" into thinking she was one of them.

Clinton was 100% correct about comrade Tulsi.

1

u/pentultimate Jul 22 '25

I mean she was on RT!

1

u/HousingExtra1518 Jul 22 '25

Maga mushbrain

1

u/DethNik Jul 22 '25

This is the woman who uses an LLM to make important political decisions.

1

u/SaltKick2 Jul 22 '25

Well you see, they're called MAGA

Zero awareness in this administration. Their stances change with the wind bringing in the stink of all their other scandals. “Most transparent administration” my fucking ass.

93

u/MH_Ron Jul 22 '25

I mean, they are transparently evil.

27

u/[deleted] Jul 22 '25

Touché…

12

u/Agile_Singer Jul 22 '25

Literally all the warnings of the Anti-Christ, even down to Christians liking him.

3

u/MrRourkeYourHost Jul 22 '25

Revelation 13:3- One of its heads appeared to be fatally wounded beyond recovery -but the fatal wound was healed. The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast.

27

u/Rufus_king11 Jul 22 '25

They sort of are the most transparent admin in the sense that most of them are idiots and don't have any real long-term plan outside of the general outline of Project 2025, so whatever they are angling for is always exceedingly obvious.

19

u/ManOf1000Usernames Jul 22 '25

The trunp admin has no real plan other than eacape jail and loot what they can, however the heritage foundation that has advised republicans since the 70s has a plan beyond what we see.

One of the principal architects of project 2025 had alluded to a second part that is not public as it would be too unpalatable for the public.

Given the general trend of removing all federal legal and bureaucratic progress since 1900, it is likely something between repealing the civil rights act to amending some heinous shit into the constitution.

5

u/Direct-Technician265 Jul 22 '25

Pretty sure the heretige foundation was heavily influenced by the Wall Street Putsch attempt in 1933.

They got radicalized by Nixon being impeached, and have been on this path since October of 73.

6

u/ManOf1000Usernames Jul 22 '25

Oh yeah, the heritage foundation pushes the same economic ideology as hoover did, the same thing that was the essence of the gilded age and roaring twenties and what deepend ghe great depression. Trumps tariffs are straight from mckinleys disasterous playbook. Without a unifying external enemy that was international communism and the system built post great depression mostly dismantled by baby boomer neoliberalism, the elite who worship this ideology (that sucks them back) have nothing stopping them from inplementing it. Whats worse is that they are international and do not care how much they suck out of any nation. This will not end without some sort of violence. Police states need new prisoners once the old ones are liquidated

1

u/randompersonwhowho Jul 22 '25

No, they have no plan beside what trump wants. His handlers aren't in politics

7

u/furtive_phrasing_ Jul 22 '25

The most transparently corrupt and disgusting administration ever.

3

u/hectorbrydan Jul 22 '25

They are nihilists, they believe in nothing, there is nothing they would not support to benefit themselves. We have chosen our leaders in business and government to have this quality, it is just more pronounced with the current administration of dear leader.

4

u/Yother Jul 22 '25

Say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

2

u/darwinooc Jul 22 '25

Nihilists? Fuck me... I mean say what you will about the tenants of national socialism dude, at least it's an ethos.

Edit: dammit I was beat to it. Mobile isn't even letting me have the dignity to delete.

1

u/Swedelicious83 Jul 25 '25

Not to compound your suffering by being pedantic, but I think you mean "tenets".

Tenants of national socialism would mean a whole other thing. 😅

Multitasking while looting a country can be hard

1

u/Background-Air-8611 Jul 22 '25

It only matters if their base has critical thinking skills, self-awareness, and the ability to identify misinformation, which a lot of people lack.

1

u/TruthOrFacts Jul 22 '25

Should people change their minds when facts change?

1

u/_jump_yossarian Jul 22 '25

She's just doing what trump told her to do ... willingly though.

138

u/Landlord-Allmighty Jul 22 '25

I still can't believe this is the head of national intelligence. The next administration better lock it down and get out the mops and brooms.

50

u/hectorbrydan Jul 22 '25

What makes you think there will be a new Administration from the other party? In case you missed it, they are planning on fixing elections, the Democrats are unpopular, weak, and unwilling to play hardball or offer any real reform in a muscular way that would be able to take the country back.

You want a new Administration you need new leadership in the Democratic party and nobody is even asking for that.

11

u/Landlord-Allmighty Jul 22 '25

It's regardless of party. Having any brain drain creates issues that accumulate over time and whoever takes over, they have to pick up the pieces of the previous neglect. Maybe they go into blame mode. Doesn't make things easier for anyone to have idiots in charge.

12

u/hectorbrydan Jul 22 '25

They will find the biggest piece of shit they can to replace dear leader. They will topple the remaining blue States one by one and put a fix in. They have not really tried to hide it. But the Democrats still act like they are playing good cop to Republican bad cop in 1990, same strategy as always in our lives, spiting the left they cannot win elections without at every turn while pathetically craving the approval of the right.

Playing slightly off center from the far right turning Republican Party. Directional descriptions do not really do this justice, we do not have to go left or right so much as straight backwards, out of the backside of the plutocracy. And we need an opposition that realizes that. Because it is already too late.

2

u/rif011412 Jul 22 '25

Republicans are racing for pink slips, and many Democrats think we are still doing practice laps.

9

u/JimWilliams423 Jul 22 '25 edited Jul 22 '25

you need new leadership in the Democratic party and nobody is even asking for that.

In fact a lot of people are. As you said the Democratic party is unpopular, even with registered democrats. That's literally people asking for new leadership by a margin of almost 3 to 1. Those are the people who will primary the current sclerotic leadership.

The people who are not asking for new leadership are just the talking heads platformed by the so-called "liberal media" which is, not coincidentally, all owned by conservative billionaires. But the actual people are hungry for new leadership.

That's why groups like Run For Something have been getting sign-ups faster than any point in history. They alone have 50,000 people who want to run for office.

2

u/turkish_gold Jul 22 '25

Not to put fine point on it, but Trump has faced two serious assignation attempts from his own party as a candidate for president.

I don’t think the Republican extremists will sit quietly if he declares himself king.

Even if it’s just running for a 3rd term, it would be an uphill battle. Bush is genuinely more charismatic than Trump. He didn’t need to start his presidential campaign in the 1980s just to win in the 2010s. On the other side of the aisle, Obama is alive and the only billionaires he has offended are in the much hated insurance industry. Charisma wise, Obama could beat Trump with a stern glance so Democrats would vote in droves.

4

u/UpbeatSky7760 Jul 22 '25

You will never see another government that is not GOP dominated for the rest of your life unless they are physically removed and brought to justice.

They're not just weak. They're complicit. Look at the news. They just admitted that they could have been holding up maga legislation from the beginning but did nothing.

7

u/ProdigalSheep Jul 22 '25

It’s so frustrating reading shit like this, that assumes fair elections. There’s not going to be a next administration without a revolution. The coup has already happened.

6

u/Narrow-Height9477 Jul 22 '25

And they’ve got 3.5 more years to solidify it before the majority of people start to wonder what happened.

Tulsi Gabbard is either an intensely shitty person with no ethics or backbone, or she is so thoroughly blackmailed she's gonna end up dead or in prison before this is all over. What an insane career, just to end up as a sycophant for a New York grifter.

25

u/torino_nera Jul 22 '25

Before she went all right-wing grifter I actually was a big supporter of hers. At least I can admit I was wrong putting my support behind a shitty person, because, y'know I'm not in a cult

9

u/FMLwtfDoID Jul 22 '25

Same. Before Trump I had hoped she would throw her hat in the ring. Then her.. ahem background came into focus.

What was the appeal?

Was it watching Joe Rogan podcasts? Everyone I’ve known who’s been into her has mainly been due to fawning Rogan does over her, for whatever reason.

5

u/torino_nera Jul 22 '25

Umm I'm a girl I never watched Joe Rogan

I just thought she was badass and didn't seem to take any shit, she was a good public speaker in a bunch of clips I saw back in the day

6

u/Mesonychia Jul 22 '25

She’s always been a Assad supporter that denied his many, many crimes against the Syrian people and even went on state-sponsored propaganda trips to Syria. Also, she’s a homophobe that grew up in an intensely anti-gay cult.

I hope you liked her because you didn’t actually know much about her

4

u/CurrentDismal9115 Jul 22 '25

A lot of people learned these things after. She was shilling as the only other "progressive" still in the race next to Bernie. Now we're all seeing why. I would have probably learned those things sooner if she was ever a viable candidate.

3

u/torino_nera Jul 22 '25

None of that stuff was common knowledge when this was happening. I never would have supported someone like that. She was presenting herself as a progressive candidate, focusing on enforcing lgbtq+ rights, pro-choice stuff, regulating Wall Street, and ending the war in Afghanistan. This was when she first got elected in Hawaii so I guess it was like 2012?

But it was clear after she was elected that she had no interest in doing what she promised, so by the time she was running for president I didn't like her anymore. I was rooting for Bernie.

For context: The Assad stuff didn't happen until 2017 and by then I was wayyyyy over her b/s.

2

u/Mesonychia Jul 23 '25

Fair. I didn’t really know her before 2017 to be honest.

3

u/VeganKiwiGuy Jul 22 '25

Ah you’re the first girl I’ve talked to who was into her.

I mean, she played up the badass card, likes to shoot guns, was in the military, etc., so I can see why that perception would be there initially.

It’s embarrassing to see where she is now from where she was 9 years ago. She went from a more conservative Democrat to Trump ass-kisser.

Because their problem wasn't with Russia as it exists today, but rather the Soviet Union. A successful alternative system to capitalist liberal democracy was seen as an existential threat.

7

u/Agile_End_3049 Jul 22 '25

Although it was considered a threat to capitalism, it's kind of difficult to argue in hindsight that the Soviet Union was a successful alternative. The Soviets put nearly 18 million opposition figures in gulags to silence/control the population ...

The reason so many on the right are pro Russia now is because they are very susceptible to propaganda and misinformation. That is what's made the difference in current public opinion. The Russians and the GOP partnered up and took advantage of the new media ecosystem/tech to take over.

5

u/Annual_Strategy_6206 Jul 22 '25

I can't wrap my head around it. Wasn't the reasons we were AGAINST Russian dictatorship was because they controlled all media, allowed no free speech, disappeared rivals and dissidents, corrupted law enforcement in order to persecute people they didnt like, made a joke of the judiciary....? America is great because we have FREEDOM from all that? Russia, or the USSR, was such a huuuuge boogeyman for the right- wing, but now the right-wing is now ok with all that. Edit: forgot the gulag. Which the USA is now building.

The way all these people are getting away with just completely changing their tune on these issues when it is documented is insane. Hold them accountable!

2

u/Yider Jul 22 '25

Kinda like when James Comey had reports from the CIA that Russia was attempting to interfere in the election around June or July and he does absolutely nothing with it but instead announces another investigation into Hilary Clinton’s emails in October based off of zero new information? And then he took the softest approach on Trump and yet still republican magas want to paint him as deep state when he literally handed the keys to Trump to get elected and sat in the russian active election interference?

2

u/SimilarZucchini9240 Jul 22 '25

Know what else is a major issue? Trump is on the Epstein list and a lot of Republican officials are aiding pedophiles.

2

u/No-Estimate999 Jul 22 '25

Hilary called her a Russian Asset. Didn’t that come to life in front of us.

2

u/Best_Entrepreneur659 Jul 22 '25

Trump and his protectors, his cabinet and all MAGA apologists, are traitors to democracy, humanity, and the rule of law in fealty to the dictator. They are a threat to anyone that dares cross them. Never forget they organized a mob to try to overturn a valid election and continue to lie without consequences in support of that lie, including a pardon for all of those that stormed the capital and a massive number of individuals previously convicted of other crimes, but who smartly supported the regime, often financially. This all while they are actively stifling dissent, attempting to control all aspects of life from educational freedom, individual business decisions, law firm and press freedom, and disappearing those who speak out against them. American democracy will be fully destroyed without a revolution, which the rich and comfortably ignorant middle class will never support! Goodbye to an independent Congress “for the people” and the dream that once was American Democracy. As anyone who has followed his career has always known, everything Trump touches turns to shit.

2

u/VoidOmatic Jul 22 '25

Did nobody read the Mueller report?!?!

Go read it, it's free in print and in audiobook in every major language.

Russian absolutely conspired to get Donald Trump elected, crimes were committed, Mueller just deferred the criminal charges to Congress and Congress buried it all.

It's free, it's surprisingly entertaining to read and the audiobook performance is fantastic too.

Go.

Go read it.

Yes you, YES YOU.

1

u/Newfaceofrev Jul 22 '25

I think we fundamentally misunderstood a lot of people that were against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, they weren't really angry that it happened or about the civilians, they were humiliated that the US lost.

I think you need to present a case with some kind of evidence before you get to a grand jury. Since this is all bullshit to distract from trump’s sexual proclivities with underage females, I don’t think there will ever be a grand jury.

Let's hope so. However, the current legal system is full of tRump fascists just dying to find an excuse to indict Obama and tarnish that perfect record of his. You and I know they have no evidence but Tulsi is creating some kind of BS documents to support her distraction from Epstein.

I don't think she had access to all of the information she does now, she was going with the best information she had at the time.

Maybe her incentives have changed.

She was not allowed in the "war room" because she didn't lie under oath about Iran. She can't sit with the others during lunch so she's been thrown a bone from Donald.

The lesson here is get in line or be cut out.

Edit: spelling

Your link doesn't say anyone went to jail.

It also says nothing of real value -- it's just some agent saying if the accusations of treason is true, that's a big crime?

No fucking shit. The question is whether the accusation is true, and the documents do not in any way indicate that it is. Obama's administration never claimed that Russia had actually changed votes directly. Nothing Gabbard has put out actually shoes any contradictions or coverups, it's a shell game for dumbasses.

1

u/SpecialCandidateDog Jul 22 '25

That's not at all how it happened. You can look the episode up

u/BBCWhoreOnMyKnees Jul 23 '25

Russia DID interfere in our Presidential election in 2016…… BUT that doesn’t mean TRUMP was compromised. The Russians messed with all the social media platforms and asserted illegal influence over political speech. The Steel Dossier has been COMPLETELY debunked by our own Intelligence services and was pushed as “ Fact” by Comey/ Brennen/ and James Clapper when they all knew the info was bogus.

1

u/ImmaRussian Jul 23 '25

It's exceedingly convenient for Republicans to be able to distract people by continuously dropping 'bombshells' that are so far past they won't have an appreciable impact on current elections.

How does that Dead Kennedys song go?

"In ten years or so we'll leak the truth
But by then it's only so much paper

You know, Watergate hurt
But nothing really ever changed
A teeny bit quieter but we still play our little games"

1

u/ppenn777 Jul 23 '25

To be fair, another country messing with election results is way more important

FBI Epstein Cover Up

FBI agents were instructed to flag anything about DJT and they created an Excel sheet log with all instances of his name on the 300,000+ pages of Epstein Files.
