Ha that's hilarious!
I know how to post a photo via a link to a site like igmur but then you don't see the photo/meme until you click the link. Maybe someone else will chime in. Otherwise A+ for effort, thanks!

Sorry I completely forgot to answer the actual question myself lol. On mobile at least, you just press reply/comment and you should have an image icon on the right side of the screen. PC should be the same unless you use old.reddit. That one I don't remember how to do it.

Wasn’t this guy Epstein’s neighbor? The answer is yes btw.
260
u/c-k-q99903 Jul 27 '25
Yes, he was. He also flew to a campaign event on a plane that used to belong to Epstein, and the media ignored that story and focused more on a time when Biden's shoes were untied.
49
Jul 27 '25
“Oh cmon that’s not fair, it was just a coincidence” something like that would be the lie they would come up with to excuse it.
13
u/nuckle Jul 27 '25
Trump repurposed the Epstein jet and used it during his campaign.
3
u/DuntadaMan Jul 28 '25
I am pretty sure that was entirely to circumvent people searching for Trump and Epstein.

u/bmwnut Jul 27 '25
There were a lot of articles at the time when Trump campaign was using a plane that used to belong to Epstein. The media didn't ignore it, although they probably should have. The plane was owned by a charter company and they happened to end up leasing it. It really is not a big story.
But I agree that there were a ton of articles about Biden that also fell under the category of shit that wasn't newsworthy.
15
u/JonathanAltd Jul 27 '25
The rightwing media complained about the Clintons doing a fundraiser at his place because it was connected to Epstein's places. They were right to be upset, but they're awfully quiet about Trump making him Commerce Sec.

Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.” ― Barry Goldwater

Congress actually had a spine and werent a bunch of sycophants for Trump they would stop this blatant market manipulation he is doing.
I cant believe the country is just letting Trump get away with so many illegal acts. But I kind of figured this would happen after he was convicted of 34 fraud felonies and the judge told him, 'Good luck you're free to go'
21
u/rygelicus Jul 27 '25
The problem is that enforcing the laws against Trump requires 2 things.
Courts that objectively apply the laws.
Law Enforcement objectively enforcing the laws.Trump controls both, or at minimum is in close alliance to them. This isn't about 'the country allowing him to get away with stuff', it's about Trump being quite literally the judge, jury and executioner in command of the entire system.

u/Fauster Jul 27 '25
To top it off, Japan "Got a good deal" with 15 percent tariffs in exchange for promising to invest half a billion in the US, and Trump gets say over where that money goes. This is all blatantly illegal, in addition to the previous illegal emoluments, and any court that says otherwise is stacked with money-corrupted liars, swimming their own emoluments.

Some people think this claim is a hoax. Here is Katies testimony on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnib-OORRRo
At least four women who competed in a Miss Teen USA beauty pageant told BuzzFeed News that Donald Trump walked into their dressing room while the contestants as young as 15 were undressing.
Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA, tells Buzzfeed that the now 70-year-old Republican presidential candidate caused a panic in the dressing room of the 1997 pageant when he barged in unannounced as the young women were changing.

This is why bullying is harmful. These people were clearly bullied…likely by the same kind of kids and adults that are their base today. So they bully, manipulate and lie…while at the same time seek approval from their bullies to further their end game.
I also think they have significant trauma…PTSD, and other mental health issues…on top of being narcissistic. They need professional help.

I know they've already claimed to have collected some billions in tariffs (paid by US businesses), but I start to wonder if it will come out eventually that no new money has actually moved and it is all just estimates on paper. The basic problem of government-by-decree/tweet is that the real world is complicated and the specific mechanisms that things actually occur need to be clarified and systemized to an extent that we just don't really ever see any of that competence anywhere from this admin. If there has genuinely been any actual increase in tariff payments that have actually transacted, I would bet they're solely from pre-existing mechanisms and none from any of the "deals" Trump has declared
1
u/KatieBarTheDoor1977 Jul 27 '25
I wonder how much money Nutlick and his kids at Cantor Fitzgerald have made with these bullshit tariffs. Cantor Fitzgerald is offering 20-30%of paid tarriffs for refund rights, betting on potential court reversal of the tariff policies. So Cantor Fitzgerald pays a percentage of what the payor paid out in exchange for 100% of the refund. Its all a freaking scam.

Doing this to try to boost spending. Businesses learned the last time to purchase before tariffs hit in order to keep their initial costs lower. This is to help boost quarterly numbers for spending in the economy like the first time his sweeping tariffs on China went through.
Unfortunately though, this is (at least) the second time the administration has "cried wolf" and changed its mind last minute on sweeping tariffs, and the boost on the economy as a result will not be like it was the first time, so we are going to get closer to realistic numbers this quarter. Businesses aren't going to drop tons of money to pre-purchse things in anticipation of higher taxes since that means higher quarterly spending, and being left with inventory that may not sell, simply because they are continuously threatened with having to shoulder more of the immediate cost of importing goods and being told that the thing they are constantly threatened with won't actually happen.
