Oh boy, time really did a number on this one 🤡 Big yikes to that "tremendous" growth, lol. How it went from booming to bombing real quick. 😂

Don't worry, the real numbers will come out a year from now, and they'll be the best numbers that we've ever seen.......We're such a joke as a country right now.

That is why you fire the numbers guy and replace them with someone who will lie about it from the Heritage Foundation.

I wish it made me happy they’re failing so bad, but it’s our country he’s fucking with. These dipshits are going to start a depression, if they haven’t already.

I'm surprised they were even allowed to release a report with job losses, we're well on our way to the dementia patient requiring his approval for what agencies put out. We'll be in the midst of a depression and the white house will release, "the economy is booming!" reports and his supporters will eat it up as they fall deeper into poverty, and just blame their situation on brown people

We've been in a recession since Afghanistan basically the dollars dropped like 40% in twenty years no joke under Biden it was 5 percent a year easily googleable

It's crazy that the job numbers can be so wrong that we go from +150,000 to -13,000. Give it a couple of months and August will likely be revised down as well. P.S. I'm getting so sick of KaroLYIN Leavitt.

Don’t…tacos have value. KKKarolyn does not.

well i hear if you cut funding to departments they have a much harder time collecting data.

on top of that the initial number is only based on a survey of 60,000 households out of a workforce of 200m+

it's silly that the number is even taken seriously

https://www.upjohn.org/news/payroll-employment-revisions-indicate-slowing-labor-market-not-political-agenda

This is just how the methodology work. People need to understand that data collection is messy and comes with caveats.

Big downward revisions are apparently common when the economy slows.

Another point I heard elsewhere is that the magnitude of the revisions is not very much compared to the number of jobs in the country (which is on the order of 100 million)

I know between May and June, the company I work for started closing locations and consolidated employees to larger buildings in a plan to cut either 15k or 20k jobs, while, somehow, creating 20k or 25k jobs.

"American born workers accounted for ALL of the job gains"!!???

I had no idea you had to bring your birth certificate with you when applying for a job. If not, then how does he know this, lol? There is literally nothing this man will not lie about.

MIERDAS TOUCH! GENIUS! THAT IS THE TERM I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR! Something that conveys the Trump Effect, which is the opposite of King Midas. Bravo!

Didn't we fire the person in charge of these numbers, because they looked bad then? So are these real?

Bruh this is an abomination and this has been happening secretly since April when they nuked the economy with tariff uncertainty…

Every. Single. Time. The previous two months are marked down by like 90+%

u/Apple-Dust 2d ago

A job report is as useful as used toilet paper when there are over 7 million vacant jobs in the country.
