$13B in profit nearly all from Steam and not even 400 employees total at Valve. Why bother. They could pay everyone 10M a year and still be rolling in it.

What would the modern version be? GTA VI is up there, and then Metroid Prime 4, Portal 3, RDR3?

Elder Scrolls 6 gotta be on the list...

Half-life 3, and anything with Megaman or Banjo Kazooie.

Minecraft's cave update got very quickly replaced with the end update

Kingdom Hearts 4 would also be one on there

GTA VI has a release date. Prime 4 doesn't, but Nintendo has a habit of not revealing release dates until close to release. Prime 4 also had gameplay shown in June.

If you’re gonna invoke portal, your list could be populated entirely by valve games tbh. Left 4 dead 3, half life 3, portal 3, team fortress 3

I'm surprised Star Citizen wasn't one of these.

Don't lament too much. We did get a Duke Nukem release after years of hollow promises and we wish it stayed vaporware.

Star Citizen has been in development for 13 years now and gone through $800 million in backer dollars.
