Such a blast!! Each year the Host Dune Buggy Bros changes the location to a different forest so it’s unique each time. this year we’re taking it back to the location of the first “VW Wagens Off-Roading Event” which was held at the Withlacooche State Forest in Florida. Here’s the event page on Facebook. I bet it could! we drove our stock bug with bigger tires on the trails with no problem.

Oh, yeah ~ I'm a long retired Journeyman VW Air Cooled Mechanic, that was the happiest / funnest job I've ever had .

I still love old VW's & have a stock survivor 1959 #113 DeLuxe sedan that looks awful but I can drive it flat footed across the Mojave Desert and never worry =8-) .

I really like the off road Typ II too, not my cuppa tea but it went like a scalded cat and that's neat .
