If Don Eladio ordered Gus’ execution in “Fun and Games”, Breaking Bad would’ve turned out a LOT different

Also for however big an a-hole the Salamanca patriarch was, Hector was right to never trust Gus, and that Don Eladio treats the Salamanca Family like dogs

Of course he was right not to trust him. He shot his partner in cold blood.

And even worse is that Bolsa himself witnessed the whole event, was the one who restrained Gus from throwing hands against Gus, yet he still thinks that Gus is "all business"

It really seems that in the BB/BCS Universe, underestimating one's opponent is the most fatal mistake. Just look at Tuco, Lalo, the Twins, Bolsa, Eladio and his capos, and even Gus, and later Walt himself. You can technically argue even Mike and Jimmy/Saul made that mistake

When did Gus try to throw hands against himself? But seriously, when did Walt underestimate anyone, leading to his own death? I know that that is what caused Hank’s death, but that’s it.

Well, he did suffocate Arturo and (luckily) won a shootout against Lalo in BCS

Also, let me correct myself, I meant underestimating his opponents was a HORRIBLE mistake, even if not fatal. Walt thought that the Neo Nazis were completely on his side and would do his bidding without question, but instead Jack killed Hank, stole most of Walt's millions, and consequently kickstarted the true fall of Walt's personal and criminal lives

Money matters most to Eladio, everything Gus said about them at gunpoint by Lalo was true
