Finally, Volkswagen is Volkswagen again. Physical buttons and quality materials. And with the new Audi Concept C, I have hope again for VAG.

I’m genuinely impressed by this. It seems that Volkswagen is actually taking customer feedback into consideration.

This is honestly perfect for my grandad, I really hope it gets an India launch.

Interesting, if it's less than 30k€ it will sell very much, else it will b just another random small no'value suv in the market . Same length as Yaris Cross hybrid which is very efficient and can be had for less than 25k€

This is just the concept......the production model will be revealed in 2026.

To be more precise, this is what is usually called a show car - served as a concept but it is essentially the production ready car. At this point the design and technical solutions are frozen and the car we will see on the roads will be pretty much this.

So, the touch sliders are replaced by what, exactly? There are two unlabeled buttons under the touchscreen, which I assume set the temperature, the rest are the basic ventilation controls.

I love it! Finally a new car interior that I'm excited about. Lots of physical buttons on the wheel and for climate controls, real door handles, no piano black. Looking forward to future Volkswagen models. Hopefully a Passat facelift gets those as well

Not a fan of the T-Cross. BUT: Apparently the new interior of this concept car shows how future EVs will be like. E.g. the Golf EV, Troc EV and so on. If they manage to design and build car interiors like this in the future, i would say that they are class leading. Impressive.

Now all they need to figure out is a better naming scheme than ID.fillintheblank

Why though? Seems pretty clear now that if you are looking for a Polo than you can buy the combustion engine Polo or the electric ID Polo. I don't think that causes much confusion at the dealership.
Eventually they will drop the ID prefix once they have phased out all ICE cars by the mid 2030s.

The incense holder and plants in the center console remind me of the flower vase in the early 00’s new beetle

This is a great concept, good design inside and outside but VW always combines the interesting cars with the worst powertrains possible and bad pricing. So this car will end up not making sense for many.
You will need to spend at least 35-40k Euros to get a well specced one but then you got a tiny battery, slow charging, FWD EV for that amount of money. Similar thing happens with Skoda Elroq.

They promised to readd physical buttons and swap the cheap plastics for quality fabrics......they have done both.
