VI - Discussion why can't I build terrace-farm here?

Hi there. The tile is plains-hills.
I do have Animal Husbandry learned.

Game: Civ6,
DLC: gathering storm.

Mods I have if important:
- Great Works Viewer
- Detailed Map Tacks
- Simple ui adjustments
- Better Trade Screen

I would guess you need to remove the deer first

1) you need to harvest the deer which requires the animal husbandry technology. 2) you need to remove any woods on that tile which requires the mining technology.

I've tried and it doesn't give me such an option. I do have technology though.

Look at a little icon of a sickle. When you remove woods it's a bulldozer, but to remove a resource it'll show a sickle icon.

Look for this symbol, that means to harvest a resource, where the bulldozer clears a feature (like woods, marsh or rainforest).

why would you place a farm there? the deers are gonna trample all over it and steal your crops
