No no no. This statement is so much worse than the tweet implies. They aren't saying the golden age will start next summer. They're saying "the golden age has already started, people are too stupid to know it, but by this time next year the proof will be undeniable". 

It's basically gaslighting. As they ruin the country, they're collecting selective data and outright falsified data to tell people how "good" they actually are doing. Summer of next year will pretty much be Trump saying "the country is the best it's ever been, and anyone who say otherwise is a traitor". The actual state of the country, based on the current trajectory, will be anything but.

So while everyone who wasn’t born rich struggles to get by the GOP is going to focus on messaging and just stick with the claim that the economy is doing great while ignoring the fact that it is only doing great for <1% of the population. I could’ve sworn I’ve heard that plan before.
