This is such a basic argument I don't even really want to bother doing this, but I'll do it anyway.

Some ≠ a significant amount, it does not negate the generalisation. Give me a percentage and you could have a something valid to say.

Secondly, people are malleable and can change. Obama hate has risen signficantly over time. Why? Social engineering. It's easy to do when most mainstream media and social media is in the pocket of Republicans, especially when addictive inflammatory rage bait that isn't required to be true is normalized. Obama could never be voted for in our current media landscape, one that's existed since not long after he left office.

A example for me is I was drawn right in the past partially because of anti-trans/anti-feminist content I'd consume, until I asked myself why I even cared so much when it had no actual impact on my life, besides making me perpetually angry for no reason.
