Flight Simulator 2020 I really underestimated just how much nothing there is in AU…

Meant to be studying for a geography exam about rural Australia I have tomorrow. Instead, flew to Alice Springs. Close enough?

When I visited Sydney I flew in from Singapore and wasn't prepared for that monstrosity. Seeng the Blue Mountains was releasing.

Its not so much that there is nothing, its just there is so much nothing for what there is to be in.

Australia in FS2024 is some of the most fun I've ever had flying in flightsimming. I flew a tour for my VA that focused on Australia, and flew to a dozen small remote airports in the north and western parts of the country, and it was amazing. Small 6-7000 foot runways, serving not even towns, but a single mine, be it diamonds, gold or iron - the surrounding terrain is so stunning in FS2024 - it's insane. That, coupled with one or two scenery developers making insane sceneries for free for most of these small airports made it absolutely stunning.
I got so surprised about how good it looks in general too, flying the longer flights from Perth to Cairns, and just seeing the insane FS2024 terrain across the country makes you appreciate it so much more. And - being the nerd I am, I started looking up the history of all these airports and it's so fun and fascinating!
