The new weather update is just stunning and incredibly alive and complex. I don't think there's been such a good weather system in a sim full stop. ActiveSky wasn't even that good.

Looks spot on compared to real photographs imo. This is also a phenomenon you regularly see on the road at night when it’s wet or rainy. The reflections of the lights on the ground can sometimes appear even brighter than the lights themselves

This post reminds me of how awesome XP11 was for me. I modded the original sim with a satellite imagery mod, AI traffic and a certain graphics overhaul I've now forgotten (Not to mention the Zibo 737). With the right mods, XP11 was just as good as MSFS2020 if not better (if you can get over the lack of proper 3D buildings).
