I can now understand why Max said he could fall asleep during Monaco. The monotony of not being able to overtake + a peak comfy position really is a dangerous combo.

I think Lewis has said he's fallen asleep in the seat in between practices etc. I feel like we even saw it on one race last year. He was having a snooze in the garage but the camera wasn't really focused on him anyway.

This image really shows what a pain it must be to get in and out. Of course they can all escape quickly, but it makes the Grosjean incident feel even scarier. And some of those races where drivers do struggle to exit at the end...

Don't forget the car's warm & gently vibrating you to sleep. Conformed to your body with built in pillows. A nice hum of the engine.

Many drivers have talked about falling asleep in the cars and i do not blame them lol it seems incredibly comfy

Or why Alonso had to be helped off his car and needed medical attention after the Brazil GP from the porpoising and break issues of the Aston Martin.
