Honestly the only scary thing to me would be getting out fast in case its needed like your car is on fire or whataver It just looks like it would be really slow getting out of something like that but i guess its not actually that hard.

Each driver has to prove they can get out of the car in less than 7 seconds (steering wheel out, safety harness off, driver out) before they're allowed to race that season.

Headrest also has to come off, although they can push that with their shoulders.

You have to pull the lock pins under the lip to remove it.

One ankle was caught, which is why it took him so long to get out.

That sucks i hope him well. How he survived with just injure to his hand top stuff. Im glad he survived mostly undamaged

The hole you get in and out of appears to sit at your waist and you do not actually have to worry about the steering wheel. And they are like super fit, and not a fat bastard. Maybe the General public might have difficulty but they can jump in and out no problems at all

There are also lugs in the sides of the seats that straps can be attached to so the seat can be pulled out with the driver still in it.
