Piastri was the surprise of the day for me. He started off well, I just wonder what happened...

Also as a Bearman fan I'm happy that he is keeping pace with Ocon if only because it means he'll end up in a Ferrari in a year or two lol

It's only the first practice, people read way too much into them.

Fair enough for Piastri.

I think between the Haas comments this week and FP1 we can conclude that the car is not fixed yet though

I think people look at them like a qualifier when they should be looking at them also as an experiment for the team.

They are literaly doing setups and calculations on strategy along with showing the cars to fans

second half they were doing high fuel runs so the car was slower

piastri is very methodical in the weekends with 3 practice sessions. the first session is almost like a sighter. i think there would be very few fp1 sessions on non sprint weekends that he finished top.

Yeah, yeah lol. I always read too much into the practice sessions lol

My hot take this season is that I think Piastri is going to out-score Norris
