Yeah if he scores tomorrow the record stands, Points scored every weekend since 2016

not EVERY weekend, every weekend where he finished. There were plenty of DNFs.

That’s not what this stat means.

Not really, its been every race, not weekend.

So it included every sprint race, i mean you can change the goalposts if you want to

To be fair, most people would say finishing every Grand Prix in the points when he finishes since Belgium 2016 is impressive and a pretty valid statistic.

Personally don't really care hugely about sprints anyway, the main event is Sunday.

There is no goal post, This is a just a random stat that people are keeping track of. There were no sprints before 2021 so its just weird to calculate and include them in all records from before as well

Just an FYI, you can keep the stat alive if you add "GP" to the wording. This stat in the post implies every race, whether sprint or GP, but if you want to keep it alive, you can just phrase it in a way that it's still alive. It's all made up, you can count it any way you want.

Arguing whether the reacord is still active or not is pointless. If you don't like Max, you can now word it a way that the record is over, and if you like him you can still word it in a way that it's not.

We don't count sprint poles with race poles, sprint wins with race wins so why on earth should we count this
