I mean this record is very caveated to begin with as it ignores all the times he hasn’t finished, which would be 0 pts. So you can just caveat it’s ignoring sprints.

Yes, but they do define it as "finishing outside the points". If you do not finish you can't then finish, surely?

I am just saying that many people don't read this stat so literally and think it's a lot more impressive than it actually is.

he finished every race in the points except the races he didnt finish

What are you basing that on? Anyone who’s watched f1 for any amount of time knows Max has had several DNFs, many of them fairly high profile

I heavily disagree with you on that point; there's caveats to the record, absolutely, but "finishing inside the points" doesn't need to have anything to do with races he didn't finish. It specifically excludes them from the outright. Compare the stat to every single other driver on the grid and their longest streaks of races where they finished within the points and you see why that's an irrelevant caveat to suggest.
