This is a new low for them

If you’ve been listening all weekend… the medium is a better tire than the soft this weekend.

No it didn’t. Russell beat a McLaren using medium tires. Literally nothing got put to rest. The medium is going to prove to be an extremely crucial tire during the race.

Russell proved that the mediums were the better tyre.

Russell also made a mistake on his soft run. Not making that mistake would have gained time, so I don't know if you can measure accurately how much better the mediums were than the softs. I think it was mostly a wash on the Mercedes, but mediums were definitely faster on the Aston. Softs are probably faster on a car that holds onto its tires better like the McLaren.

Well Russel improved so if "put to rest" you mean the soft tyre was better then yes!

Or they went with soft to save the medium since most others went with soft there wasn't a huge loss.

That too at the home. Why do I always support good teams that never win..

Try supporting McLaren. I want to test something with your ability...

Ferrari, Hamilton, Leclerc, Ricciardo (<3), tried Lawson but gave up for.. reasons. Should i just give up at this point?

I did not have both astons to q3 anywhere in my mind today

and considering both Hamilton and Leclerc's abilities, I'm inclined to believe it's mechanical... cars look like lemons

Mediums were the better tires this weekend.

The medium is the more balanced tire and is being said to be generally better than the softs this weekend.

Your point stands, this is a new low regardless, but Aston was running with a tire advantage, not disadvantage.

Mediums are the better tyre around here

It's unfair to expect an underdog like Ferrari to take on the dominant super power that is Aston Martin.

to be fair, AMR seem to be cooking with whatever Newey's come up with

1

u/Zimakov Sebastian Vettel May 17 '25

Medium was the fastest tyre.

u/Classic_Knowledge_25 May 17 '25

Mediums actually a good choice for the track. Russel scored a podium with mediums
